Days With My Stepsister peeks into the life of Yūta Asamura, who finds himself adjusting to a new family dynamic after his father’s remarriage and introduces him to his step-sister, Saki Ayase, the most beautiful girl in her grade. Living together, they traverse the complexities of their relationship, striving to maintain a balance between closeness and distance, all while learning from their parents’ example of healthy familial bonds.
The anime adaptation of “Days with My Stepsister” introduces a new trailer alongside details about its official opening and ending themes. Scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 4, 2024, the series will be broadcast on various networks, including AT-X, Sun TV, Kansai TV, TOKYO MX, and BS11.
Fhána contributes the series’ opening theme, “Tenshi-tachi no Uta,” setting an enchanting tone for the show. Complementing the narrative’s nuances, Kitri provides the ending theme, “Suisou no Branco,” adding a melodic touch to the series’ emotional environment. Both songs are showcased in the newly released trailer.
The original “Days with My Stepsister” light novels, penned by Ghost Mikawa and illustrated by Hiten, are published by Media Factory under their MF Bunko J imprint. Under the direction of Takehiro Ueno at Studio DEEN, the TV anime promises to capture the essence of the source material.
Matsutaka Hirota handles the series composition, while Manabu Nii crafts the character designs, and CITOCA provides the evocative musical score.
