The official youtube channel of PlayStation recently posted the trailer of the upcoming brand new story mode game from the Naruto series, and since then, fans of the series have been super excited to find out when is Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Release Date.
Ever since this game got announced, the reactions have not been the best, because, after all, the game does look a lot like NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4, but I think that this game is going to be something big and amazing.

Even if it is branded as a new game, players can shake the feeling that some elements look like the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 Remastered and some elements look like the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4 DLC.
I think that in the latest Baryon mode in Sasuke Kage gameplay, we are able to see a few things that are different, so while at the surface this will feel like the same NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4, the underneath the game will probably be bigger than you think.
Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections: Review
The gameplay that the official channel released is showing us some new systems. In fact, it is showing that Demon Slayer might have had an influence on the combat system for a strong connection, which is only natural because both of them have the same developer.
That is also why they have used the “Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles” pattern on the cover of the Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, yes I will never let that go.
Now Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games have these crumple animations where a character falls down to their knees, but if you wanted to combo from this, no there is no way you can do that, they are competing immune if you look closely.
On the other hand, Demon Slayer has changed that and made it a central part of their combo system, a crumpling Demon Slayer not only lets you keep the combo going, but it also gives you enough time for a stronger attack.
That is why it is something that to us, the Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles players, we absolutely see in our characters. This is because it usually means that our characters are going to deal with more damage, and now Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm games are doing the same.
We saw a little bit of that crumple animations back in the announcement with Indra and Ashra, and now we got the confirmation that this is going to be a new mechanic when we saw the last gameplay when we see Naruto Baryon Mode hitting Sasuke into this state, and then throwing a Rasengan when he was crumpled.
Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections: New Mechanics
Now the Crumpled state, not only allowed Naruto to extend the combo here, it also allowed him to do with the Rasengan, which is a much bigger attack. Although it is hard to notice that he is actually using the Jutsu here, you can see that there is a little blue shin right before Naruto vanishes and dives on Sasuke.
The shine looks a bit smaller than the NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4, but also Naruto is teleporting during his Jutsu, and it made it a bit harder to see, but Crumples might not be the only thing that Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is bringing over from Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles.
This is because it is possible that we might get Multiple Justsu as well in the upcoming game. In Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles, we see that each character has three special moves in total; if they are slayer, I mean, if they have the Demon to get, they get five, but let’s just focus if there is slayer on the other side.
On the hand, in NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4, you only have one Jutsu, and this feels like a natural stepping-up point. Looking at the footage of the trailer, not only do we see this dive attack from Naruto, but this Rasengan also has that little chakra flair, which means it is also a Jutsu.
Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections: Release Date
