Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18 is just around the corner, which is going to be sad for most of the fans and even sadder for its Voice artist, Kenjiro Tsuda, as it might be the last episode he would ever give voice for.
If you don’t know Kenjiro Tsuda, I don’t know in which world you are living. To give a brief description about him, let me tell you that he has voiced many iconic characters like Nanami from Jujutsu Kaisen, Joker from Fire Force, Isshiki Okutsuki from Boruto, Overhaul from My Hero Academia, Bruford from Jojos, Nicolas Brown from Gangsta, Kishibe from Chainsaw man, etc.
The list would keep going if I had to add all the characters that he has voiced for. However, you get the idea of how insane his voice is. I guess everyone who watches anime frequently has heard his name.
However, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 18 will be the last time he will ever voice for Nanami (excluding the flashback scenes that may come later on). Tsuda really loved voicing for Nanami and seeing him saying farewell to Nanami was kind of sad.
In this article, we will be taking a look at what Nanami Voice actor, aka Kenjiro Tsuda, wrote before his final episode in Jujutsu Kaisen. Later on, we will also take a look at some some facts about him.
Nanami Voice Actor Writes a Final Message Before his Last Episode in Jujutsu Kaisen
On 17 October 2023, Nanami’s voice actor, Kenjiro Tsuda, thanked everyone for watching Jujutsu Kaisen, and he also thanked everyone for supporting Nanami. This was the day when he voiced for the last episode, which will be released on 23rd November. The tweet received over 17 million views on X (formerly Twitter).
On 22 November, Tsuda tweeted asking the fans of Nanami and Jujutsu Kaisen to support them. Later that day, he tweeted that he was touched that Jujutsu Kaisen and Nanami are loved by people all over Japan and all over the world. Tsuda even retweeted a post saying, “What does the refreshing cut of Nanami means.”

Well, of course, he didn’t directly tweet that Episode 18 will be the last episode for him since it would be a big spoiler for anime-only fans since they don’t know what fate will bring to Nanami in Episode 18. However, Tsuda san hinted to us in many ways that this going to be his last episode as Nanami.
I think we can expect a proper farewell message from him after episode 18 gets aired since he would be able to speak openly about it. Episode 18 will be really heartbreaking for all the Nanami fans since it will be the last time we will see him in Jujutsu Kiasen.
Thank you for watching #jujutsukaisen. Thank you for supporting #nanamikento .#nanamin #kenjirotsuda

Some Interesting Facts about Tsuda while he was casting for Nanami
Tsuda once said that Itadri screaming “Nanamin” had the biggest impact on him in the Shibuya arc. He stated that the Shibuya arc is continuous nervousness so that particular scene helped him enlighten the mood a little. He thought that he was saved by Itadori’s brightness.
While Jujustu Kaisen Season 2 was airing this year on Halloween, Tsuda said that he wanted to avoid Halloween in Shibuya as much as possible, but if he had to be there for work, he thought “Will I be fine if it’s around here in Shibuya?”
Tsuda once said that he still remembers the day when he was cast as Nanami’s voice actor because, on the very same day, Nanami got killed off in the manga, and it left a deep impression on him.
While voicing for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 12, Tsuda requested a retake for the scene where he beat Haruta. In the end, he ended up making Nanami sound more fighting than the initial take. Even Haruta commented on this that he was frightened watching Tsuda san hold his overflowing anger when acting.
Throughout the Jujutsu Kaisen series, Yuji and Nobara are the two characters that Tsuda is fond of,
Tsuda said that Yuji has always been his number one favorite character ever since the first season. He thinks that it’s because of his deep relationship with Nanami, but he said that it’s a story of his growth, and he has always rooted for Yuji to do well.
