INFINITE’s Nam Woohyun is ready to showcase his action chops in the upcoming film “The Guardian” (working title), set for release!
Recently, it was revealed that filming for “The Guardian” featuring singer-actor Nam Woohyun has wrapped up in Manila, Philippines, with post-production currently underway.
“The Guardian” narrates the tale of a young man who embarks on a daring mission to rescue his mother, held captive by a Filipino Korean organization. Nam Woo Hyun takes on the role of Park Do Joon, who sacrifices his dream of becoming a national Taekwondo athlete to settle in the Philippines and safeguard his mother.
Park Eun Hye portrays Kim Mi Jin, a successful Korean professional in Manila who, despite losing everything to gambling, exhibits unwavering maternal love in protecting her son. Han Jae Suk assumes the role of the antagonist Cha Dong Chul, the head of the largest Korean syndicate in the Philippines. The film also features Kim Ok Joo, Kim Ji Oh, and Filipino star Yassi Pressman.
The newly unveiled still image captures Park Do Joon, clad in a hoodie and cargo pants, hinting at the intensity of his character.
