The Premise
Ryota Sato’s life is flipped upside down when he’s thrown into another world out of nowhere, narrowly escaping death by the attractive, Emily Brown. In this unfamiliar world, battling monsters and reaping the rewards of their drops is the name of the game, with treasures ranging from food to riches.
However, Ryota initially finds himself skillless, and useless, in this new life. That is until he discovers he possesses an overpowered skill of obtaining rare drops. With this newfound power, Ryota’s life takes a turn for the better, or is it really fortunate?
The Cast
Ryota Sato and Emily Brown as characters were previously introduced. Ryota Sato is voiced by Kaito Ishikawa, and Emily Brown by Rin Kusumi. Two additional cast members were revealed in July, including Eve Callusleader, voiced by Marika Kono, and Erza Monsoon, voiced by Mai Fuchigami.
Ryota Sato (Kaito Ishikawa), the male lead character, is a normal 9-5 working man whose world turns around when he’s transported into another world of item-dropping monsters. His physical stats are pretty weak, and he has almost no superpowers, but his “unique skill” of acquiring rare items (an ability called Drop Skill All S) makes him unbeatable or “overpowered.”
Our female lead character, Emily Brown (Rin Kusumi), can perform household activities like cooking and cleaning well, but her earnings stay dull due to her dropping skills. She carries around a huge hammer as compared to her small size and lives alone in a dungeon. She bumps into Ryota when he’s transported into the world.
