Episode 11 of the South Korean reality show Fantasy Boys will release super soon. As only 20 boys have made it to the finals, fans are now curious to know who 12 among them will make their debut as idols in the Grand Finale of Fantasy Boys. Released in the year 2023, Fantasy Boys is the spin-off show of the 2022 released reality show My Teenage Girl. This franchise aims to create Korean girl-band and boy-band groups with the help of prominent celebrities from the K-pop industry and the audience. Fantasy Boys calls the contestants not only from South Korea but from other countries such as China, Thailand, the US, the UK, and Japan.
This year, over 50 participants made their way toward Fantasy Boys, among which only 12 are going to get selected for the debut. Fantasy Boys follows a simple format in which the famously-known artists train, mentor, and judge the participants and work to curate the best talents who will create the best influence on the K-pop industry. After successful season 1, in the year 2023, season 2 of this amazing variety show has been renewed, and we are soon going to find out who are those eight boys who managed to win the heart of Korea.
Fantasy Boys Episode 10: Recap
At the beginning of the Fantasy Boys episode 10, the host announced that the final round of the show had started. Twenty-eight boys, among 50, have made it to the semi-finals, and only 20 of them will be selected for the finals. After explaining the voting method, we could see all of our fantasy boys introducing themselves one by one. The host of Fantasy Boys then announced the semi-finals task titled Semi-finals Producers New Song Mission, which would be from Woo-Young’s “Snacks” team.
In the later scene, we saw how the Snacks team prepared for the challenge under the guidance of Woo-Young. First, he chose whom he wanted to be on his team and then explained the reasons why he chose all of them. About Kaedan, Woo-young was pretty concerned as he thought that this challenge would be difficult for him. Kaedan seemed to work hard on his pronunciation and managed to wow Woo-young.
Snacks team made their way towards JYP entertainment to record their song, which they were going to perform for the semi-finals. However, only Jun-won could not record his part as he was sick, but he happily did it the next day. After rigorous dance practice and tiring recording sessions, the Snacks team performed on the stage in front of the judges and the audience. When the team Snacks members were ranked, Jun Won and Ling Qi received the first and second places.
Before announcing the 20 finalists, the host announced the final challenge, in which the boys will be divided into two teams and compete. Based on the votes winning team will receive the benefits, and finally final 12 members will make a debut in the K-pop industry. The next day, the host selected the top two and gave them the right to form the teams for the next challenge. With the help of the game rock-paper-scissors, the top two selected their team members.
However, there is a twist as all 28 have been bifurcated into teams, and only 20 of them will go to the finals. So eight boys will be eliminated even after training for the last mission. In the semi-finals, Kang Hyun Woo, Kang I-Rang, Kim Dae Hui, Park Hyeong Gun, Kim Beom Jun, Nam Seung Hyun, Jun Myung Jae, and Hayato were eliminated, and the rest 20 started their preparations for the finals.
