My Perfect Stranger Episode Recap:
In the previous episode of My Perfect Stranger, Lee Soon Ae got discharged from the hospital. The detective is frustrated that the killer got some nerve to show up at the hospital and leave a threatening note in her room. Hae Joon thinks that person is scared of getting caught, so he is just trying to threaten her to keep her mouth shut. It was the first time he couldn’t kill his targetted victim.
The detective was going through the evidence in Lee Soon Ae’s kidnapping case. He noticed a matchbox from Bong Bong Teahouse. He overhears that his senior wants to close this case. Lee Soon Ae, her family, and Yoon Young were dropped home by a detective. Yoon Young was suspicious of him. She mentioned search the culprit and not stopping the matter after sending her home.
Hae Joon met Lee Soo Ae’s family to discuss what happened on yesterday’s news. Police are not serious about the case, and no one is guarding the house. Hae Joon encouraged them to involve the media. Soon Ae agreed to the interview, and Hae Joon contacted a Seoul-based media company. The detective gave Hae Joon the matchbox he had discovered earlier.
The note discovered in Soon Ae’s pocket disappeared. The case made national headlines. Hae Joon met Min Soo, the prime suspect in the case. Hae Joon obtained Min Soo’s medical record supporting his alibi. Hae Joon gave those proofs to the journalists and asked them to present them in the news. The police had to release Min Soon as he was proven innocent. Later, Yoon Young noticed Mi Sook following Min Soo. She saved Mi Sook from her abusive brother.
The breaking news about the murder case was all over the country. Journalists broadcast the evidence and locations of incidents on television. Hae Joon took the risk of reporting himself as the main witness in the case. He mentions that he has seen the face of the murderer. He and the detective had set a trap to capture the offender. The person was none other than Chung Ah. She admitted that red string and matchboxes are hers.
Chung Ah indirectly mentioned her baby’s father as the culprit. She didn’t want to spend her life with a wicked man. Hae Joon is shocked to see the time travel car is missing. Yeon Woo escaped, and Hae Joon attempted to stop him.
