Recap
My Man is Cupid’s first two episodes spin-off with lots of fun and excitement. The story introduces three cupids, Sang Hyuk, Dong Chil, and Dong Gu 500 years who are stuck for so many years as their wings are burned down, and they must recover them until their cupid arrow turns golden.
Dong Chil also has the curse of turning into a dog whenever he misses an arrow to shoot at the couple. Their life was going pretty normal until Sang Hyuk bumped into drunk Baek Ryun at a restaurant. She starts calling him ‘darling,’ which makes the owner think of this young lady’s boyfriend and make him pay.
Sang Hyuk carries Baek Ryun to the police station, and he finds the safest place for her. The next morning, Sang Hyuk gets a call from the police that the body of the person from 1993 was found in the mountains whom he was searching for. It was Jeong Ah’s corpse who was Sang Hyuk’s beloved, and she was kidnapped and brutally murdered.
Later, at a cupid exhibition that Baek Ryun also attended, Sang Hyuk noticed that she didn’t have a red string attached to her, which made him more curious about her. Baek Ryun notices him stalking and asks him to fall for her; otherwise, he will die.
Suddenly, Baek Ryun gets a call for a treatment of a dog recovered from an incident. She rushes to save the dog’s life, and then Sang Hyuk recalls her clinic is near another clinic where he brings Dong Chil for treatment.
After all this, the recovered dog’s master’s junior, Jae Hee, comes to the clinic and falls in love with Bae Ryun at first sight. Meanwhile, Sang Hyuk, who was present there, gets jealous of how Baek Ryuk was smiling at Jae Hee.
