Yamada remembered that Akane had told him about Takaya and had explained that he was her childhood friend. Even though he looked a bit scary, he was kind.

Yamada told Takaya he should give up on Akane and mentioned that he would be leaving soon. Mayu told Miichan Yamada he was a merciless guy, and Takaya was already on the verge of death.
But he struck the finishing blow. Miichan told her that the tense vibe wore her out. They cheered up Takaya, told them they were still there for him, and mentioned that they were on their side. They decided to hang out till the sun came out, and Yamada returned to meet Akane.
