My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 Episode 8 saw Akane arriving with Runa at Yamda’s school. She is happy to see Yamada and excited to meet him; however, Runa is having a hard time here, nervous about applying to the school next year. Runa breaks down in nervousness and goes to the bathroom while Akane waits for her and sees Yamada at the school but is afraid to approach him, seeing he is busy.
However, Yamada approaches Akane, saying that he noticed her making the latter happy. They catch up to Runa in the nurse’s office, saying the reason she has a stomach could be because Runa is not eating anything the night before because she was excited to eat the food at the festival. Runa and Yamada decide to buy the food while walking down the halls of the school. The girls confront Akane asking her if they are dating, and they barely manage to get out of the school.
