Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia will come to an end on August 4, 2024. As the series wraps up, Weekly Shonen Jump is filled with heartfelt messages from fellow mangaka, showing their appreciation for Horikoshi and his series, which has been a favorite for nearly ten years.
Authors like Eiichiro Oda, Akutami Gege, and others have shared personal stories about how My Hero Academia has influenced their own work and lives. Horikoshi expressed his gratitude for the support and joy at having told his story in Weekly Shonen Jump.
“I’m really happy to have experienced all of this in Jump! I’m glad so many people have read the series! Thank you very much!”
