In the last released chapter, we get to see the continuation of the Explosion God Dynamight’s revival and his effect on the ultimate battle between good and evil. That is also the reason why the fans believe that the next My Hero Academia Chapter 405 is going to be controversial because it feels like there are going to be a lot of arguments with this one.
The last release chapter opens up with a flashback where we see Sir Nighteye telling All Might about his vision of him suffering a cruel death back in the present, and we see AFO, unphased by Bakugo’s revival, still holding All Might up in his arm preparing to fulfill his said prophecy.
Not only that, he also finds out that all over the world, people are watching in shock and horror at the site being broadcasted before them. Some are still cheering on All Might, some are praying for his safety, while others have given up entirely.
My Hero Academia Chapter 404: Recap and Review
In addition to this, we also see the weather woman who appeared in a previous chapter talking about the butterfly effect and how all the actions of one person can have a substantial impact on the world as we know it, interestingly enough, informing her colleagues that winds they originally forecast that day have strangely started to change.
Following this, the story briefly cuts to some leaves blowing in the wind, whose significance is currently unknown, before cutting right back on over to UA and Bakugo. Upon making contact with Midoriya, he immediately creates explosions, rocketing himself over to his childhood friend.
Midoriya, without even a moment of hesitation in saying Bakugo’s approach, jumps away from Shigarake and grabs onto the flying Bakugo’s hand, and together, using their combining speed and strength, the two hero starts spinning in the air, building momentum, preparing to perform the Explode A Pult technique.
This was the same technique that two heroes used against nine in the Heroes Rising movie, in which Bakugo spun and launched Midoriya at its target with great speed. Except this time, it is slightly different as instead of Midoriya being the one launched, it is Bakugo.
Midoriya, using the full power of OFA, activates his Gear Shift Quairk once again, but this time, not on himself, but on Bakugo. Turning the exploding murder hero into a human bullet, compelling him at an absolutely insane speed towards AFO and All Might.
It is also important to note that before Midoriya activated the year shift one more time, the second user’s vestige warned him not to, stating that doing so would greatly exhaust his body even further.
Also, as the duo performed this modified Explode A Pult technique, Midoriya had to release the grip he had on Shigaraki, bring the villain, and leave him in the prime spot for an attack right behind Midoriya.
Speaking of Shigaraki, as he stretches out free from the clutches of Black whip, taking a note from his master, he begins to taunt Midoriya, giving us one of his creepy smiles as he claims that Bakugo will not make it in time to save All Might, and he and Midoriya already know this because they both can sense that the ghastly version of All Might’s wastage inside of OFA has disappeared and has been replaced by his clear image.
That is the reason why I believe that this confirms the reason All Might’s vestige is not like the others is because he is still alive, or because he was…alive….
