Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia are the ones that come to people’s minds when they think about the popular Shonen jump manga and anime. However, with the recent developments in the series, we are diving into the end of the series with both of the said manga narrating their final arc.
Gege Akutami and Kohei Horkoshi both said and hinted on multiple occasions that their manga is ending soon, and they even said that the manga would come to an end in the year 2023. However, it was only a prediction set by both of the authors for their manga, as they are indeed planning on ending their manga soon.
With what has been said so far and the status of the manga and its progression we are highly assuming that the next year, that is, 2024 will indeed see the end of the two beloved series for good.
There are a lot of things that we have to go over to claim this news, and thus, we would like you to read through the articles and later share your thoughts about how these stories are coming to an end and how long they could go on about.
With that being said, here we bring you the latest news and updates regarding your beloved manga and anime series.
Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia Will Come to an end in 2024
As the manga readers know, Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia and Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen are both in their final arc with the final battle. While the heroes are going against the final villain that is All For One, and his vessel, Shigaraki Tomura, the sorcerers from Jujutsu Kaisen fans are having a hard time dealing with the ultimate demon that is Sukuna after the latter has killed the beloved Gojo.
Kohei Horikoshi’s final arc started a while ago with all the final villains, including famous names such as Dabi and Toga. In conclusion, with their narrative, there is only a single villain remaining, and that is All For One.
Predicting My Hero Acadmia’s outcome is pretty easy, considering that there are no remaining villains to be defeated. Defeating Tomura is going to be the last narrative that we will see in the manga, and from the recent development, the next year will start this fight and will conclude it as well.
I don’t suppose that My Hero Academia will have more than 30-40 chapters to conclude the story, and it is enough time for Kohei Horikoshi to finish these many chapters in the next year.
However, there isn’t confirmed news for My Hero Academia by the author, unlike for the Jujutsu Kaisen.
Gege Akutami Confirms that Jujutsu Kaisne Will Come To An End Before Next Year
On multiple occasions, Gege Akutami had mentioned that they were going to end the series by this year, but the series had been dragged along with more narratives to see. Considering how Gege is actually planning to end the manga, 2024 will indeed see the end of the story.
In addition to multiple rumors and hints that the manga is coming to an end, Gege Akutami has left an official message for the future of the series that sees bad news for the series end.
In the Jump Festa 2024, Gege Akutami’s message said that this is the last year for the Jujutsu Kaisne to be in Jump Festa while it is being serialized. While we are not sure how long it will be before the series comes to an end, we are supposed that it will be before December 2024, according to Gege’s statement, considering that Jump Festa always takes place in December.

Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia have been of the top sellers of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and seeing them coming to an end is a little sad, but the goods should come to an end. One Piece has already been on the serialization for more than 25 years, and we are not sure if we can handle one more series like it.
Surely, Jujutsu Kaisen could have gone for a longer narrative as it has fewer chapters compared to either of the series. Gege’s narrative is short yet very interesting. Nevertheless, the anime will carry on for years to come, and fans can also take a look at the games that were announced in the Jump Festa.
