TV Chosun is back with an interesting psychological mystery drama called My Happy Ending, which is creating a wave in social media right now. The drama premiered on 30th December 2023 and will end on 18th February 2024 with the release of 16 episodes.

My Happy Ending tells the tale of a couple who faces trial and tribulation in their married life due to one misunderstanding. The main protagonist of the drama is Seo Jae Won, who had a perfect life. She is exceling in her career, married to a dearest husband, Soon Young, and even has a lovely child.
Her daily life was going happily, as always, with support from her husband and colleagues. She was adoring her life. But with the entry of Yu Jin, who graduated from Jae Won’s university, her life turned upside down.
Seeing the happy, fulfilled life of Jae Won, frustrated Yu Jin gets jealous and makes a vicious plan to destroy her life. Yu Jin is a failed person, she just got divorced, and her career is also fading. So she decides to take the happiness from Jae Won’s life too.
Recap
In the last episode of My Happy Ending, a quite serious conversation between Jae Won and Soon Young. Jae Won reveals to Soon Young the things the lawyer told her. She tells him that he must give up on Ah Rin’s custody because she can not get Ah Rin’s custody unless he gives up.
Whereas, she also, with a heavy heart, asks to proceed with the divorce before, at last, whom Ah Rin chooses it’s up to her which they can look forward to. Both, however, feel heavy and stuffy with the divorce and separation talks which eventually makes their eyes filled with tears.
However, their divorce creates a lot of buzz around them, which eventually affects Ah Rin. Even tho no one told her anything directly, but she is the only person who is affected the most by it. Jae Won, after realizing Ah Rin’s pain, tries to feed her, but she won’t budge.
Whereas, Yu Jin is just getting on Jae Won’s nerves more day by day. She even starts dressing up like Jae Won just to snatch everything from her. Even Ah Rin mistakes her as her mother.
Yu Jin is the person who knows Jae Won very well since their university days and therefore, she uses every little piece of information and even secrets of Jae Won against her. Whereas, Jae Won advises her private lawyer for another way to expose the cheating of her husband.
As the lawyer advises Jae Won, she must reveal the truth to the public in a way that the public takes her side and not her husband’s, this way, she can protect her image and career too. For her next move, Jae Won counterattacks Yu Jin with the temptation of an artist contract which can make her very popular.
Now it will be interesting to watch if Yu Jin accepts the offer what next bomb will Jae Won throw at her and how it will blast?
