Things between Goujo and Kitagawa might start to resolve in My Dress-Up Darling Chapter 106 after a long wait. The last few chapters have been very grueling both for the characters and the readers who take part in the stretched-out story. While it is consistent with the character’s motives, the duration of the uncertainty of the character leaves a sore taste in the mouth sometimes.
It had been quite some time since Goujo and Kitagawa, have had an honest conversation with one another. Neither of them knows how to be out with what is going on inside them, and neither wants to risk hurting the other. But, this is reaching a tipping point for them as their emotions have no outlets.

We later see her being invited to a Karaoke with her friends where she is seen sitting idle all the time. The song and the situation reflected what the status quo was between the two characters, and the cracks that are on the way.
The latter half of the chapter focused on Gojo meeting an old accomplice who asked him how he had been doing. Gojo summarized what had been going on and got some elderly wisdom from the old man on what to do. The male lead got a bit of clarity but he was still undecided on what to do next.
