The Release Date of the much-awaited My Dog Becomes A Human Chapter 6 is right around the corner. The Manga takes place in a random town in Japan where a mysterious phenomenon is taking place. All the dogs in that town suddenly turned into extremely good-looking humans. However, they did not adopt any human characteristics and remained every bit as dog-like as before.
The plot is mainly centered around Saki, who is in Highschool and Ponta, her Siberian Husky. Saki can’t help but feel attracted to Ponta as he resides in the body of a grown man who looks like he was carved by angels. Ponta hugging and kissing Saki as he did in his dog’s body does not help her case at all. As time goes by, we learn that other people are in the same boat as Saki, if not worse.
Saki tries to act as if everything is normal. She takes Ponta on walks, plays fetch with him, takes him to the vet, and so on. But one can imagine how awkward it must be to be seen in public with a grown man on a leash. Ponta or any of the other dogs don’t seem to realize they have changed. They remain as unbothered as ever.

In the last chapter, we saw Saki at the Dog Park playing fetch with Ponta. While jumping to catch the frisbee, Ponta accidentally bumps into Uruha. There, we meet Noraiki-san and his Samoyed Uruha. Saki thinks to herself how human Uruha resembles dog Uruha very much. Since Samoyed is extremely friendly, Uruha wanted to play with Ponta, but Ponta was having none of it.
Seeing that Ponta is not bushing, Uruha focuses his attention on Saki. Both Ponta and Uruha fight over Saki, who is having the time of her life. Noraiki-san calls back Uruha soon after, and we can see Saki on her knees, hunched over-claiming that she has no more regrets in this world. Now that Uruha has left, Ponta grabs the frisbee again, bringing it over to Saki so they can play some more.

We have yet to see a female dog in the series, so we just might get to see one in the following chapter. If they are anything like their male counterparts, we can expect them to be extremely good-looking as well. It’s anyone’s guess what new shenanigans Ponta will be up to in the next chapter. One that’s certain is that it would be funny, and Saki’s thoughts on the matter are anyone’s guess at this point.
