Ochiai is a depressing person who repeatedly demeans herself. After her divorce, she relocates to a new flat and meets Sawatari, a jovial man a little younger than her. Following Sawatari’s rescue of Ochiai from a drunken man, the two start to cross paths frequently. Ochiai’s long-lost happiness begins to return as Sawatari’s kindness dispels her concerns and worries; her grieved heart is now overflowing with many warm, real feelings.
Among the benign but occasionally obscene romcom mangas, this one is unquestionably a hidden gem. It’s a good read for leisurely reading. I got the impression that the author of this piece sought to portray the hopeful future of an adult couple traveling to a new location to live together, but he also made sure to give these characters some depth.
There aren’t many mangas nowadays that focus on such adult themes that are actually based on what people feel after divorce or even heartbreak. Most of the time, they start to think that they are the problem, they are not worth it, and that it was all their fault when it wasn’t.
People are really loving this as it is distinct in its art style but still feels like home. The adult tropes but in very mannered and made for all kinds of ways, have made their way to the pinnacle.

My Divorced Crybaby Neighbour Review
Without a doubt, the first half is in-depth. It looks at several complicated adult personal issues that people in partnerships face. Ochiai, the main character, is a recently divorced woman who, to put it mildly, has unpleasant experiences with her ex-husband.
She is single, but when her neighbor Sawatari-kun enters the picture, her luck changes. Things keep getting better on this front as Ochiai begins dropping by Sawatari to cook a dinner or two on the pretext of repaying a favor. Although it addresses real-world topics, including emotional and employment difficulties, the mangaka aims to demonstrate to the readers that things can always be better.
There will always be someone you can adore, and it is really healthful. The story’s best quality is that it does not stay in one location for too long despite the gradual progress and chapters that are more centered on slice-of-life. I’ll clarify why in part on the characters.
Mr. Ochai In the course of a few dozen chapters, there was a significant degree of character development. She initially presents as a nervous, hurt, and self-hating woman who holds herself responsible for her broken marriage. And may God have mercy on Sawatari-kun, her next-door neighbor, for giving her the ability to recognize her value and experience appreciation.
Some cultured readers would also appreciate the fact that she is thick as AF. The fact that their new relationship genuinely develops and avoids the “will they or won’t they” trap is the finest thing about it. The next central protagonist and Mr. Sunshine himself, is Sawatari-kun.
He is a tremendous blessing and his new lady companion’s buff guardian. He may appear to be uncaring at first, but he is actually very reliable and not as simple-minded as the readers might think. He is crucial in providing Ochai with the necessary amount of enjoyment because he is very direct yet always kind in his speech.
If you believe he’s too intelligent, he’ll surprise you, I promise. Though I advise reading the manga if you want to see how the romance develops. Because of her dark circles and haircut, Ochiai-coworker san’s Karasuma-san appears depressed on the outside, but she is actually quite the all-time help and emotional support and more of an older, wiser sister kind.
She and Ochiai have many things in common, and Karasuma does provide some mature humor in her mocking. It’s in small dosages, so don’t be alarmed.
