The chapter opens up with Mona having lunch with all of her friends. Asahi asks Tomo if she made all the food alone, and Tomo replies that she might not look like it, but she can cook very well. Asahi apologizes for bringing over such a big group at the busy time of new year’s Eve.
Tomo’s brother says that it’s okay as he’s enjoying the change in environment because it’s just him and Tomo in the house normally. He then goes out to work after saying goodbye to Tomo.
Haruno asks Tomo what kind of work her brother does, and she replies that he’s a writer and that he would probably skip meals and lock himself in a room if she let him have his way. Mona mentions the text Tomo sent everyone asking them to come over and says that it was quite random, but she’s glad she didn’t have any other plans. Shira says that she’s glad to get invited as she’s free the entire winter break.
She asks Tomo why she invited all of them, and Tomo replies that it’s just to hang out as they are all good friends, after all. She says that it would be great to end the year with a good slumber party, and Asahi replies that she would do anything as long as she gets to eat.
Mona gets anxious as she has never done a sleepover with so many people, and she looks around at all the people she knows about, including Tomo, the girl who fell in love with the same boy as her in middle school.
Mona smiles because she never thought she would have fun hanging out with so many people, but she’s enjoying herself now. Tomo asks everyone to get ready as they will be going for a bath after finishing eating.
Asahi wonders why she wants everyone to get ready, and so Tomo says that her bath is really small, so they would be going to a public one. They all arrive at the public bath, and Haruno gets excited as she has never been to one.
Haruno mentions how Mona and Tomo have such bodies and wonders how Medaka never fell for either of them. Asahi comes from behind Mona and shocks her.
She then tells everyone how Mona tried to seduce Medaka but failed, which anger Tomo. Mona thinks she can’t hide everything forever, so she goes on to explain how Medaka is a monk, so he can’t get along with girls, and then asks everyone to give up on him.
Asahi and Tomo get angry and refuse to back down from making him fall in love with them. Meanwhile, Shira and Haruno enjoy this drama from a distance. After finishing the bath, everyone goes out for a walk while talking about how good it felt. Tomo asks everyone what they are going to do next, and Shira says that she has prepared something fun.
