Recap
In the previous chapter of My Boyfriend is a God, Miso sees visions of Hera, and we see flashbacks about the time Hera died. We see that Loka, or Namsin goes to see his father, the Sun God, but he is stopped by the gatekeeper. Namsin is about to cause destruction in anger when his father comes out and congratulates him.
He asks Namsin to go get Hera’s soul since he killed her, and that he acknowledges Namsin as his son finally. We assume there is more to the story between Namsin and Hera because Namsin looked very disturbed when his father, the Sun God, said, and that too in a very proud voice.
He looked pretty psychotic as he talked about purifying Hera’s soul and sending her to heaven. Miso joined two and two together and realized that Namsin actually wiped Hera’s memories about him murdering her and had her fall in love with him in heaven, after basically manipulating her as he pleased.
That revelation was more than shocking for Miso, who couldn’t believe that Namsin could’ve done something like that. Miso further breaks down when the vision shifts to her being informed about her parents. Hera tells Miso that all the misfortunes surrounding her were because she was someone who was loved and hated by the Gods.
Miso felt responsible for the state of her parents, sister and brother-in-law, and even Seonjin’s lonely life. As she was crying, the Fire Goddess appeared before her and hugged her, while consoling. She tells Miso to make the correct choice when the time comes and choose what she believes is right.
