My Adventures with Superman is returning to Adult Swim with its second season this weekend, and it appears that the creative team went out of their way to ensure that Superman and all the characters are depicted in the most attractive way possible in this new interpretation.

Season 1 introduced fans to new versions of Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen, and viewers immediately noticed the striking appearance of the characters.

According to My Adventures with Superman Co-Producer Josie Campbell and Co-Executive Producers Jake Wyatt and Brendan Clogher, the decision to make Clark Kent and others “hot” was indeed intentional.

They confirmed that there was a clear mandate to make everyone look as attractive as possible, with Clark Kent receiving special attention in this regard.

When asked about the mandate to make Clark so attractive, Co-Executive Producer Jake Wyatt responded, “Why wouldn’t there be? There’s a mandate to make everyone as hot as possible, but especially Clark.

He continues, “Early on, during animation revisions, we made sure that Clark had big, beautiful Disney Princess eyes. After all, Clark is a space princess and must always be treated as such. Yes, Clark has to be beautiful all the time.”

The creative team’s focus on aesthetic appeal extends beyond just Superman, aiming to give all characters an appealing visual representation. Fans can look forward to seeing this approach continue in Season 2 of the series, where the characters’ attractiveness will be on full display once again.
