What is the show MTV Roadies about?
It is an Indian reality show for youngsters to showcase their boldness and skill. They come from all parts of the country to audition. Forms with a variety of questions are filled out and even read by the judges and contestants if necessary or inappropriate. They demand out-of-the-box thinking without crossing the limit.
The limits are tested, tasks are given, and gang leaders decide if one is fit to be a roadie. This season has a new twist of Karam Ya Kand. Along with the theme being new, several new faces like Gautam Gulati and Rhea Chakraborty as gang leaders can be seen.
Sonu Sood is the new face of the show, while Prince Narula has managed to retain his position as a gang leader. Each gang leader is given a fixed amount of roadies currency Roadiums to bid on their favorite participants to get them into their teams.
So far, the show is still in the audition phase. Later, selected contestants will have to perform stunts, tasks assigned, travel to different places, and challenge their mental, emotional, and physical strength.
It is all about survival of the fittest, with internal voting leaving no scope for outside interference. The one who surpasses all the difficulties put in the way makes the way to a grand prize.
MTV Roadies Season 20 Episode 10 Recap
The episode begins with resuming the auditions. The judges and viewers are introduced to Rupa. She loves animals and runs her private rescue operations.
She has managed to save hundreds of animals and provides shelters to about 70 paralyzed dogs. Her team involves her husband, brother, and 20 other members. She receives appreciation from judges for her commendable work.
Alongside her is a carefree bird Himanshu. Judges don’t like his use of foul language in the form, lack of morals, and punctuality. Prince and Rhea lash out at him for his behavior, and he has to apologize to the crew. He is rejected by all and has to go back. Further, Rupa is assigned certain tasks. When asked if she can climb the rope, she says she can’t. Sonu Sood motivates her, and she is able to complete the task.
However, her negative answer at first displeased the gang leaders, so they rejected her. However, Sonu sood selects her for her Karam(deeds) being great. She is moved to Gautam’s Gang. The next contestant is Swati from Sonipat. She describes her brave tale of taking a stand for her mother against her father, who physically abused her mother.
She also completes the tasks with boldness impressing everyone. She is selected by Rhea Chakraborty. The last contestant of the day is Himanshu from Chandigarh. He is mocked by people for his father’s profession. He is a cool dude with lots of swag and fitness. He was selected by Gautam for a bid of 2000 Roadiums. He calls his mother to give the good news.
