Recap
In the last two episodes, the story of the two pitiful souls from the Silla dynasty was revealed. Han Ri Ta, whose family was killed by nobleman Do Ha, vows to take revenge on the man who ruined her life.
Hna Ri Ta approaches Do Ha slowly and makes him fall for him. In the process, Han Ri Ta also develops feelings for Do Ha, but as she takes a vow to kill him, she puts her love aside, and just on the day of the proposal, she stabs Do Ha.
Meanwhile, Do Ha, who was betrayed, gets tangled in a curse of seeing his ex-lover reincarnation from his own eyes until he kills her in a human form. The story then moves forward to the present time, where we are introduced to Kang Young Hwa and Han Jun Oh.
Han Jun Oh is a popular celebrity who has a huge inferiority complex issue. His mess is always taken by his stressed manager and older brother. But one fact kept hidden from the public was that he had last-stage cardiac cancer.
Jun Oh gets into an accident by passing out while driving, and his car gets drowned in the lake. Kang Young Hwa, the brave firefighter, comes to her rescue. At the hospital, Do Ha’s spirit wakes up in Jun Oh’s body, who gets overjoyed seeing Young Hwa, but instead of a hug, he dodges a knife at her.
Do Ha’s spirit takes this as an opportunity to kill the reincarnation of her lover, Han Ri Ta, Kang Young Hwa. But every time he tries his attack, a shield appears around Young Hwa, which pushes him away. Then Do Ha recalls that Ri Ta received a talisman from a monk when she was a child.
However, Do Ha’s actions made everyone around him think that Jun Oh had gone mad because of his post-accident trauma. Do Ha use Jun Oh’s body as a chance to hire Young Hwa so that he can remain close to Young Hwa and obtain the talisman from her?
