Monster But Wild is an action and fantasy anime with an animation style quite similar to popular Chinese games like Honkai: Star Rail and Genshin Impact. The story is about a young boy named Dongdong who has been an ardent player of an MMORPG named Azure.

One day, Dongdong finds himself stuck inside Azure as a Skeleton, one of the weakest characters. Soon, he meets a perky girl named Pink Bubbles and proposes to become her pet and give her infinite support in exchange.

In the previous Episode of Monster But Wild, Bubbles and Dongdong realize that a sneaky cat has found its way into their shelter and has malicious intent. Dongdong and Bubbles subdue the agitated and somewhat immature Ninja Cat, and Bubbles humiliates him by dressing it up in a maid outfit and clicking his pictures.

The Ninja Cat doesn’t learn his lesson and tries to attack Dongdong, hoping to kill him, but Dongdong blocks his feeble attempt. In turn, Dongdong kills the Ninja Cat.

After its death in the game, the Ninja Cat becomes a ghost who cannot talk or touch anything. It reports back to Yewu, the person who had sent the Ninja Cat to Dongdong in the first place.
