Minato’s Laundromat: Wash My Heart! Season 1 Ending Recap (Spoilers!)
Minato’s Laundromat: Wash My Heart! Season 1 ended on a happy note, with Minato and Shin finally finding the happiness that they deserved. In the last episode of Season 1, Shin told Akira he was going to talk to him after March when his results came out. As Minato tried to cheer himself up and wait patiently for Shin’s return, Shuu and Hiiragi finally began dating after confessing their love for one another.
Shin had told Minato he would not meet him during his exam period as he was aware that Minato would blame himself if he failed to get in. Minato talked to his old teacher regarding this, and he comforted him by saying it was because Shin cared about him and not to worry too much. When Shin came back, they celebrated, and Shin asked Minato if he would be willing to go with him to Tokyo.
He had passed the exam but could not bear to leave Minato behind. Minato was afraid of him pursuing his studies for their relationship, so he was hesitant, to tell the truth.
Shin knew he would respond by putting his future above their love for each other, so he left the house. Minato misunderstood and thought he would leave. He saw Shin loading boxes in a truck and believed he was leaving.
To add to his suspicion, his friends Shuu and Katsuki told Minato Shin he was leaving and even gave him a letter he had written to him. Reading the letter, Minato couldn’t help but run to meet his lover and professed his love to him on the beach. However, it turns out that Shin had chosen a local university, as he loved Minato too much.
Minato’s Laundromat: Wash My Heart! Season 1 finale came to an end with Minato and Shin sharing a heartfelt kiss and walking hand in hand under the sunset as they finally reveal their feelings for one another.
