Congratulations are in order for Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi! The “Stranger Things” star, and the model, “quietly said their vows” last weekend in a secret wedding ceremony, according to multiple reports.
“They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year, but for now, they have legally married and completed all the paperwork,” an insider revealed on Friday. “It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family present as they exchanged vows.”
The couple is also planning a second wedding in Italy later this summer. Bongiovi’s famous father, Jon Bon Jovi, was reportedly in attendance along with Brown’s parents.
The rocker is also expected to attend their larger ceremony later this year, although Brown has said he won’t be performing. This has been a significant year for Jon Bon Jovi, whose eldest son, Jesse Bongiovi, also got married earlier this month.
The couple had an equally intimate engagement party in June 2023. Hairstylist Pete Burkill shared photos of them posing in front of a white balloon arch with a neon sign reading “Mr. & Mrs. Bongiovi.”
Brown wore a two-piece bridal white Giambattista Valli set with pearl trim, while Bongiovi added some color with a green suit with wide lapels. Their engagement party came two months after they announced their engagement following two years of dating.
Jake proposed with a “super classic” cushion-cut diamond on a gold band. Olivia Landau, a GIA-certified gemologist, estimated the diamond to be between 3 and 3.5 carats, likely costing over $75,000. Despite some fans criticizing the pair for being “too young” to marry, Jon Bon Jovi quickly defended his son.
