Recently, Michael Bublé appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show, where he talked about his encounter with a polar bear, which made him feel like he was having a near-death experience.
The “Everything” singer said that after attending a party he went out with Barry Pepper and came across the unique but aggressive animal, Polar Bear, which looks very cuddly in the commercials but gave a drastic experience to Michael in Canada.

On Tuesday, Michael Bubble appeared on The Kelly Clarke Show, and while sharing other things, he came up with an experience he had in Canada with Barry Pepper.
The actor shared that after attending a party with Barry, he suggested they should go down the beach, which was a peaceful idea until Michael was encountered by an aggressive animal on the beach, a polar bear.
Michael, along with Barry and a resident friend of the place, ran downwards to the beach excitedly until they realized there were polar bears on the beach.
In the beginning, during the moment, they were like, ‘You know what we should do?’ We should race down the beach. Following this, they all ran down the beach, and suddenly the guy who lived there just started swearing. The singer mentions that he literally started swearing at them and just screaming ‘bloody murder’.
Michael continued that they did not realize they were running to certain death because the beach was full of polar bears down there, and “they’re the most aggressive, but God, they are so cuddly.”
Kelly responded, “They’re beautiful,” and gave an example of the Coca-Cola commercials in which they are like snuggling jokingly as she wrapped her arms in an air hug. Michael said, “Yeah, but they will eat you.”
The singer was so shocked that he could not even realize the fact that during all this whole thing that happened, he had come so close to death and said, “Sometimes I wonder about how close I was to being like a little polar bear lunch,” as he laughed.
Kelly added that who would have thought there were just Polar bears, like nobody ever hears, “Oh, that’s Polar bears hanging on the beach?” because it just does not happen.
Just a month ago, in December 2023, when Michael appeared on an episode of The Diary of a CEO podcast, he opened up about his 10-year-old son Noah’s liver cancer diagnosis when he was asked about the shift in priorities in his life by host Steven Bartlett.
That time of his life was like a sledgehammer to his reality, and he can never be that carefree anymore, but it’s okay for him. The singer finds being able to exist a privilege, and despite the fear, the suffering, the pain, and all those things that came into his life, he thinks it is a part of a beautiful life.
Further moving on with his statement, he said he thinks that he did not have his priorities straight. He loved his family but felt he was just focused on his career ambition at that time and added “How do I become the baddest, biggest best? More ego, more power, more money.”
On which he shares that the cancer diagnosis of his son had rocked his world as it pulled the curtains from his eyes. The Haven’t Met You Yet! singer shares four kids with his wife, Luisana Lopilato: Noah (10), Elias (7), Vida (5), and Cielo (16 months).
