Metallic Rouge Episode 4 will be releasing next week! In the previous episode, Rouge and Naomi had a little dispute after coming to Wellstown which led the former storming off to the Nean settlement. There, she was introduced to some of the people who gave her an idea of what life was life for them.
However, things get more complicated when Rouge gets involved with the Council of Free Neans or the CFN, who seemed to have an ulterior motive besides fighting for the freedom of their people.
The upcoming episode of Metallic Rouge will reveal more on the CFN and their goals, and also witness how Rouge will react to all the disaster that is building up around her in a foreign environment.
Recap
Rouge and Naomi are interrupted by a man who tells them that he was asked to inspect their luggage. The man takes them to a different room with another person for the inspection. During this, it turns out that the magical sphere Rouge got from Viola was her I.D.
Naomi is handed over a box by the man which had a robotic bird inside called the MK II. When they reach Wellstown, all of them go out to eat as they were exhausted from the trip.
On their way, they start a random discussion on the whole concept of freedom, but end up having stark opinions which makes Rouge storm off in anger. Naomi tries to call her but she throws off her eapiece and walks away.
At a distance, Rouge sees a Nean getting bullied by a group of soldiers. She goes up to him and protects the boy, who called himself Nion. Luckily, Nion’s boss Dr. Afdal came before things got out of hand and offered Rouge a place to stay as a sign of gratitude.
All three of them take a walk into the Nean settlement when Dr. Afdal is approached by a man telling him that Dahlia was in pain. Rouge was curious on how Dahlia got hurt and Rion tells her that she was someone who frequently engaged in combat to protect the Neans.
Afdal adds that Dahlia was one of many who weren’t allowed to relieve their pain through death. However, her condition was much better here than working on the Venus Project. This project treated humans as objects where their lives were invaluable.
Rouge is stuch in the Nean settlement for a while as she’s questioned by a man named Levi 328. Meanwhile Naomi is worried about Rouge and questions if she had gone to the Neans all alone. Back to Rouge, the Levi 328 takes her to his headquarters.
He was a member of the Council of Free Neans, which Dr. Afdal warned Rion to be dangerous. This confused both him and Dahlia as they believed the CFN was fighting for the freedom of the Neans. To Dr. Afdal, they were an organization that were planning on doing more harm than good for the community.
Rouge is given a tour by Juval and Huey, who give her some context on the settlement. Juval told Rouge that he was a use and throw child that humans would take in when they couldn’t bear babies of their own.
He further told her how many like him were exploited for a long time. He tells Rouge about the Alters and asks for her help in completing their mission. Back to Dr. Afdal, Dahlia wasn’t able to survive through the pain and her body was taken to burial.
Finally, Naomi is able to find out Rouge’s location with the help of MK II, but things have taken a turn, Juval’s body is dead on the ground and CFN members begin to accuse Rouge of the murder.
