Former Slovenian factory worker Amalija Knavs, who became a US citizen with the help of Melania Trump, her daughter, has passed away at the age of 78.
The sad news was announced by the former first lady, Mrs. Trump, on Tuesday night on X. There was no mention of the cause.

Mrs. Knavs and Viktor were U.S. citizens

The Knavses’ immigration attorney, Michael Wildes, stated at the time that the family had obtained green cards for five years before applying for naturalization.
