The CG used in the movie was top-notch. Fans even compared the CG with Avatar’s CG and appreciated the animation as a masterpiece of technology. The futuristic world portrayed in the music video resembles Star Trek cities of another planet. Fans could even spot cosmetic advertisements and a glimpse of Greek architecture in the hyper-realistic world portrayed in detail in the Music Video ‘Pandora’.
What was totally unexpected, though, was the realistic dance moves of the members that did not feel like machine dancing. Even the facial expressions during choreography were as natural as that of humans.
The music video showcased an impressive collaboration of choreographers, makeup artists, and an animation team. The ending of the music video even gave clues for the next comeback of the group with the dismantling of Pandora’s box.
The Music Video was also released on the popular K-Pop channel 1thek. The group also made a stage debut on MBC’s Show! Music Core. The stage performance felt so realistic that it did not feel like a light show but solidified figures dancing.
On 4th May 2023, the group released another single, ‘Wonderland’, with a concept of Mike singers. The lyrics revealed the fakeness of the automated and dreamy world of ‘Idypia’ that is just too comfortable to escape.
Fans loved the concept more for the fact that they could love an actual idol who would not whither away in the world of stardom ever. The concept of Virtual K-Pop Group is thus for the people who want to become idols away from dating rumors, body shaming, and scandals alongside keeping their privacy.
