The chief made sure that Bell was taken care of in the future and that the past didn’t repeat itself.
Ren told her plans to Bell, and what they will have to look forward to in the future. Bell was worried that the gods might jump on them if they let them in close but Ren wasn’t worried. The chief told Bell of the story about how once her house got raided and she didn’t have to raise a finger to fix it.
