Materialist Princess has gotten quite popular among Manhwa lovers after its release on March 2023. I think it is because of its comedy and unique art style. It’s no doubt that the whole Manhwa is being carried by Rose. Even I like her.

The latest chapter of Materialist Princess also starts with a bit of comedy between Rose and Anoch (Crown Prince). Even though there weren’t any big events in chapter 22 but still because of the writing, art style, and character’s funny reactions, I didn’t get bored even for a moment.

Rose has now left Anoch’s (Crown Prince) palace and returned to her home. As she got some money while she was at the palace, she decided to utilize it properly. But later in the chapter, we find out that her brother has taken a huge amount of loan from the debtors.

Materialist Princess is now one of my favorite Manhwa, and I am looking forward to its next chapters. That being said, let’s quickly have a recap of Chapter 22 and know the release date of Materialist Princess Chapter 23.

Materialist Princess Chapter 22 Recap

The chapter starts with Rose watching Anoch (Crown Prince) sleeping on a couch. Rose sat next to him on a chair. As she was watching him sleep, he suddenly opened his eye and stared at her. He wakes up and says that he woke up ten seconds ago, and now he is in a bad mood because of her.

He asked her why she was there. Rose told him that today was her last day and she would be leaving soon. She also told him that she would often come to see him in the future as they were officially lovers. After greeting him, she left his room.

In the next panel, we see Rose and her brother reaching their palace back. As they entered the palace, Berthy (Rose’s Maid) came running toward them. Berthy told her that she was worried about her and asked her why she left on her own. Butler said that it was a relief that she came safely. The next day, Rose got some money while she was at the royal palace, so she started organizing it.

It was not enough, but they’ll become steady step by step. She told Bart that this time she needed to hire a chef, assistant cook, stable, servants, and gardener. She thought it was better to hire people by considering Bart’s age. As they were discussing, a person came knocking on the door.

He greets and introduces himself by saying his name is Michael. He gave Rose his recommendation letter from Lady Jane. In the latter, it was stated that he was born in the capital, his age was 18, and his specialty was taking care of the carrot garden. Rose told Bart to take Michael to the vegetable garden.

Later that day, she meets debtors to discuss her debts. She found out that his brother owes 1700 gold to Baron Oliver and also owes 2200 gold to Viscount Judro. She got dumbstruck hearing it; her brother sweetly told her not to get angry and also told her that there were nice people as they lent him money when he was having a hard time. The chapter ended with Rose screaming ‘My money”.
