Masters of the Universe 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD Release Date Confirmed for October

Fans of Masters of the Universe will soon be able to bring the live-action reboot home, as Amazon MGM Studios and Alliance Home Entertainment have officially announced its physical media release. The fantasy adventure will arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 20, giving viewers another chance to experience Prince Adam’s return to Eternia.

The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray editions will include bonus content such as a Behind-the-Scenes Promotional Gallery and “Masters of Light: Skies of Eternia Drone Spectacle.”

Directed by Travis Knight, Masters of the Universe stars Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam, who returns to Eternia after 15 years to face Skeletor, played by Jared Leto. The film also features Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, Alison Brie, Morena Baccarin, James Purefoy, Kristen Wiig, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson.

The story follows Adam as he reunites with his allies and embraces his destiny as He-Man to reclaim Eternia from Skeletor’s rule. With the physical release now confirmed, fans can look forward to revisiting the adventure along with exclusive behind-the-scenes extras.
