Masterchef Singapore Season 4 Episode 2 will be released soon. The show is back with a banger to entertain the audience and a breath of fresh air. With many new twists and amalgamations, the show is expected to reach new TRP heights soon.
This season will bring about new cuisines, fusions, and even the will of the audience on the platform while the judges get involved in the flash too. The reality show began its journey in 2018 and has come so far.
Episode 1 of the fourth season blessed the viewers on Singapore National Day and will continue to run till everyone finds their new Masterchef. The show is all about 18 amateurs finding their inner talent of cooking exceptional dishes and making a way to the Masterchef kitchen to compete for the reputed title.
Masterchef Singapore Season 4 Episode 1 Recap
The episode starts with 18 cooks who are set to take up the journey of not just becoming a professional chef but rather Masterchef. There is no mercy from episode one as the eliminations begin from the start itself.
The contestants are introduced to the viewers, and to bless the judging panel, Damian D’Silva, Audra Morrice, and Bjorn Shen have arrived. The twist this time is the teamwork because 18 contestants will split into three teams, each with six members, and the judges will join them to mentor and polish their cooking skills.
Chef Audra will lead team yellow with the members Inderpal, Louise, Mandy, Jacky, Tina, and Dheive under her wing. Chef Bjorn, the leader of team red, will mentor Saza, Jonathan, Aretha, Divya, Zi Xuan, and Esther.
The blue team of Chef Damian will have Sharmaine, Jun Gui, Aameer, Reuben, Amanda, and Aizat. Straight after the division, the cooking battle begins. The judges had two rounds to give to the contestants.
Where the initial round was 60 minutes, where each constant was totally in to put their heart into making food that would get them to last in the series fourth with Aretha cuts through her fingernail, which is painful to watch.
Jun Gui, the home baker, prepares a dessert, while quite a few people with Indian roots can be spotted in the show. Next up, the remaining contestants are given another chance with another round to prove their worth for the show, where they give their all because it’s sink or swim this time.
This time alone, the contestants are given less likely used food items in a chef’s kitchen, which will be the duty of the remaining contestants to use to make a dish tastier than it should be. These are chosen by the judges.
By the end of the episode, six people are asked to head back home while the remaining 12 proceed to the next stage. Dheivi, Jun Gui, Zi Xuan, Esther, Sharmaine, and Jacky are the ones who fail to make the cut.
