Masamune-kun’s Revenge Season 2 Episode 3 is going to be the next for the series, and it will include some major plot developments. The story so far in season 2 has been filled with various twists and turns, with heartbreaks and mysteries at every corner.
The last episode was the biggest plot point as the viewers finally got to see the events from 8 years ago from Aki’s point of view.
After watching Aki’s points of view, it seems that her feelings are also completely justified because, according to her, Masamune was the one who abandoned her.
But how is her story so different from the one Masamune experienced? Is Aki lying to make herself feel better? Or are there some other elements in play here? The suspense doesn’t seem to cease, and all we can do is wait for the release of the latest episode!
Masamune-Kun’s Revenge Season 2 Episode 2 “The Princess’s Confession”: Recap
The Episode opens up with Masamune calling Yoshino a “Traitorous Little Witch,” and Yoshino starts thinking that maybe he’s right. Masamune says that the Kowai Stewards have a reputation and that what Yoshino is doing goes completely against her master’s wishes.
Masamune asks Yoshino what would happen if everyone came to know about her being with Adagaki Aki’s Fiance. Yoshino stands up and tells Masamune that he can do whatever he wants.
She starts to walk away, saying that she isn’t afraid because Aki has already caught her once, but Masamune tells her that he won’t be telling Aki. Instead, he’ll tell her parents. Masamune continues by saying that Aki is too pure, but if her household gets involved, then she won’t let Yoshino off the hook.
Yoshino gets angry and shouts that Masamune is too untrustworthy, but she suddenly stops because she sees her 8-year-old self standing in front of her, asking her what would happen if Masamune found out about “that.” Yoshino suddenly goes silent, and so Masamune walks away. Yoshino stays in the same spot talking to herself for some time.
Masamune reunites with Aki, and they both continue their Paris trip. They walk in the starts while holding hands, and Muriel walks behind them while paying close attention, which makes them embarrassed.
Aki even falls due to the embarrassment, but when Masamune asks if she wants to eat, she replies normally, which makes him realize that she’s fine. Aki and Masamune then eat food together, and Muriel still keeps watching them, which makes them uncomfortable.
Aki pets a stray dog at the park, which reminds Masamune of their childhood, and he also learns that the story Aki believes in is completely different from the one he believes in, as she thinks that Masamune forgot about her even when she liked him. She even believes that Kanetsugu is actually Masamune, and he came back after all this time.
Aki says that she doesn’t want to feel that sad again and so she can’t let Masamune(Makabe) in her life. Masamune gets furious because she was the one who pushed him away by calling him “Pig legs” and saying that she would never love someone like him.
Masamune remembers how his life became hell after he got rejected, and in his anger, he tells Aki that it was his fault that he got abandoned.
Aki gets hurt by Masamune’s words as she thinks she could trust him with this. She runs away while crying, and Muriel asks Masamune to follow her, but he refuses.
Masamune returns home after some time but finds that Aki hasn’t returned. Meanwhile, Aki finds Yoshino and starts crying while hugging her. Yoshino remembers the same incident from 8 years ago.
Masamune-Kun’s Revenge Season 2 Episode 3: Spoilers
This is going to be a major spoiler, so read at your discretion! In the upcoming episodes, the viewers are going to learn that the story they have believed in since the start is actually not true. Eight years ago that night, Aki did not call Masamune “Pig legs,” and she did not tell him that she would never love him.
The person who actually said those words was none other than Yoshino, and she did this because she was jealous. This is exactly what she meant by the phrase “you know what” in the recent episode. Will you be able to forgive Yoshino for this? Because I can’t!
