Married At First Sight Season 11, 12 & 13: Where Are They Now?

Married at First Sight is an American reality series that focuses on two strangers meeting for the first time on the day of their marriage and then navigating their compatibility and love for each other in a set period. After the set period of time is over, the couples decide whether they want to continue being married to each other or prefer to go their separate ways.

The series started on a similar concept as a reality television series in Danish titled Gift Ved Forste Blik. Chris Coelen and Eric Detwiler produced the series. The series had the viewers hooked on the series, and it successfully ran for 16 Seasons. Kinetic Content is the production company that produced the series, and it first premiered on July 8, 2014. The viewers found the series’ concept unique, and it was interesting to see whether their favorite couple made it or did they decide to get a divorce.

The 11 seasons featured five couples, Amelia Fatsi, a physician, and Bennett Kirschner, an artistic company director; Olivia Cornu, a nurse practitioner and Brett Lindsey, an AWS practitioner; Karen Landry, a human resource consultant; and Miles Williams, youth educator, Amani Smith, non-profit field, and Woody Randall, a teacher, and Christiana Croce, a flight attendant and Henry Rodriguez, a clinical recruiter. Out of the five couples, three decided to continue with their marriage, and one decided to go their separate ways.

The 12th Season of the series had five couples, Haley Harris, an account executive; Jacob Harter, a senior IT Analyst; Paige Banks, an accountant; Chris Williams, a finance manager; Brian Myles, an engineer and Vincent Morales, an auto broker, Clara Berghaus, a flight attendant, and Ryan Oubre, a project manager, and Virginia Coombs, an account coordinator, and Erik Lake, a pilot.

Out of the couple, three agreed to continue their marriage, and two decided to go their separate ways. The 13th season had five couples Michela Clark, a realtor, and Zack Freeman, who worked in finance; Rachel Gordillo, a special education evaluator, and Jose San Miguel, a mission flight specialist; Bao Huong Huong, a research administrator; Johnny Lam, an IT project manager, Myrla Feria, a leadership coach, Gil Cuero, a firefighter, and Brett Layton, a teacher, and Ryan Ignasiak, worked in oil & gas liaison.

Married At First Sight Couples Now

As the seasons go on, it leaves the series’ viewers curious about where the couples from the previous seasons are. Viewers often wonder where their favorite couple is or if they are still together. Many of the couples who decide to continue their marriage in the series decide to get an annulment or divorce after coming out of the series.

Season 11 Couples: Now?

The 11th season premiered on July 15, 2020, and it introduced us to the couples from New Orleans. The couples in the season were paired with strangers the experts felt would be a perfect match for each other.

Woody and Mills made history by being the first pair of best friends who applied to the series at the same time and were accepted to feature in it. Woody got paired with Amani, and they were successful in making their relationship work, while the same happened for his friend Mills.

Miles was paired with Karen, and the couple fell in love and are still together. Some of these couples did prove when it’s meant to be, it will happen without a doubt, even when you are getting hitched by a stranger.

Amelia Fatsi and Bennett Krischner

Amelia and Bennett were one of the most loved couples in the 11th Season of the series due to their having great chemistry with each other. It didn’t take long for the duo to gain a mutual liking for each other due to both of them possessing quirky traits. The fans loved the couple, and they decided to stay married on the day of the decision. On the decision day, Bennett revealed to his fans about getting a tattoo of Amerlia’s initial on his wrist.

Thus their fans will be disappointed to know that their power couple filed for divorce and got one in 2021. The couple has remained cordial and friendly with each other, and Bennett continues to work in New Orleans as a director. Bennett is single, while Amelia has moved on and found a special someone for herself. She is committed to Alexander Bayer, a yoga instructor.

Olivia Cornu and Brett Lindsey

Olivia and Brett had a rocky relationship, with Brett being unwilling to put in the work to maintain the relationship. Viewers felt bad and sympathized with Olivia after seeing how unwilling Brett was to put the same amount of work into their marriage as Olivia was. Olivia was left heartbroken by the way Brett treated her. The couple decided to part ways on the decision day, and the viewers were happy for Olivia.

Olivia has since moved on and is committed to Chris Collette, who features in the 14th season of the series. There have been no more updates on their relationship since then, and Olivia has continued to work as a nurse in New Orleans. Olivia also has a true-crime podcast with John Conner, her friend. Brett has also moved on in life and is now focused on his cat and ambition. He did date another girl after divorcing Olivia, but as of 2023, he is single.

Karen Landry and Miles Williams

The couple had a rocky start, and it seemed like they wouldn’t be able to make it. The couple proved the assumptions wrong and are one of the few couples who featured in the series still being together. The couple keeps their fans updated on their life as a couple via Instagram. Initially, the problems in the relationship were because of Karen’s hesitation.

Miles works as a principal at an elementary school. The couple is busy building a happy, loving life together. Karen works as an influencer, and the couple has a YouTube channel where they share updates on their relationship.

Christina Croce and Henry Rodriguez

The couple was introduced to each other in the series on the day they were supposed to get married and had a rocky start since the beginning. The couple was too different from each other for the relationship to have worked. The couple decided to end their marriage on the decision day, and the fans were glad that the relationship ended.

Christain has kept her life a secret. Thus, there is no information about what she is up to this day. Henry had a docile personality, and he would let Christina walk all over him. Thus the relationship is not working. Christiana had tried to blackmail Henry during the series, but he has moved on from his days at the show and has been committed to Kayla McCormick. Henry is happy in his relationship.

Amani Aliyya and Woody Randall

The couple had an instant connection with each other and became a fan favorite quickly. Amani was like for her personality as she was playful yet mature at the same time. During arguments with her spouse, Amani was always able to maintain a level head, and that was something rare. Thus the reason behind the couple still going strong.

The couple has had a child together and shared their relationship with their fans via Instagram. The coupe Amani and Woody also have a YouTube channel for their fans to be updated on their life as new parents.

Season 12 Couple Now?

The 12th Season premiered on January 13, 2021, and introduced the viewers to couples in Atlanta. The series was the first time featuring someone who was looking for a second chance at love as their first marriage had failed.

Out of the five couples, three decided to continue their marriage, while two decided to go on their separate ways. The couples in this season tried hard by giving their relationship a genuine chance before making the decision of whether they would continue being married or break up.

Erik Lane and Virginia Coombs

Lane was one of the most loved guys in the series, and he got paired with Virginia. The couple had a rocky start with differences in views, but the couple decided to continue being married on the decision day. The couple has since broken up and divorced after the series filming wrapped. The couple decided their personal problems were bigger than they expected and ended their marriage in 2021.

Erik has continued working as a pilot and has kept his relationship status a secret. While on the other hand, Virginia was fierce and knew what she wanted. Since her divorce, Virginia has been focused on her mental health and has remained single. Virgina travels a lot, and she likes attending events.

Ryan Qubre and Clara Berghaus

The couple met each other on the day they were to marry, as in the reality series format. The couple had many ups and downs in their relationship and decided to work on being together by solving the issues between them. Since his split, Erik has been focused on his job as a CrossFit trainer and is single at the moment. While Clara, on the other hand, has continued her profession as a flight attendant. Clara is also single at the moment.

The couple had the shortest marriage in the series and decided to break off their marriage on the decision day.

Since her separation, Paige has been living and enjoying her life. She has dated some men but nothing serious as of 2023. Chris has also moved on in life and has been dating another woman, who was carrying his child, but the couple later miscarried the baby.

Season 13 Couples: Now

The 13th Season premiered on July 21, 201, and introduced the viewers to couples from Houston. This was the first season of the series with no successful match. All the couples featured in the series either ended their marriage on the decision day or ended the relationship after the filming of the series wrapped up.

The couples gave their all before calling it quits due to different reasons. The couple had a unique personality. This season did form several bonds of friendship between strangers.

Brett Layton and Ryan Ignasiask

The couple as an individual were nice people, but together they seemed to bring out the worst in the other. The couple had their fair share of fights, ups, and downs before they decided to separate on the decision day by ending their marriage. Brett has since been enjoying her life and making TikTok videos.

She has continued to work as a coach at Cypress Fairbanks School. Ryan has also moved on in life and has continued to work in the Houston Oil & Gas industry. Ryan has admitted to a budding romance with Alyssa Ellman, and the couple had more spark between them.

Jose San Miguel and Rachel Gordillo

The couple had worked through the problems in their marriage during the filming of the series and decided to continue being married to each other. The couple sadly separated and filed for divorce after the filming of the 13th season wrapped up. Since his separation from Rachel, Jose has continued to work as a Mission Flight Specialist.

Jose is also in a relationship with a mysterious woman, according to his Instagram. Rachel has also moved on in life and spends her time traveling and documenting her journey via Instagram.

Gil Cuero and Myria Feria

The couple had a rocky start, and viewers took an instant liking to Gil. Viewers would often feel the problems are more from Myria’s side and would support Gil in the issues the couple was having. The couple later broke up after the series’ filming wrapped up as they weren’t able to manage their differences respectfully. Gil has moved on in life, and his focus is on traveling and his ambition. He is currently single as of 2023. Myra has moved on in life, as seen from her Instagram, where she dropped a hint about her having a new man.

Johnny Lam and Bao Huong Hoang

The couple had a rocky start with differences in personality and beliefs and decided to end their marriage on the decision day. He has maintained a friendship with Myria, a fellow co-contestant. His Instagram has suggested he has moved on and has made the decision to attend Houston Live Stock Show.

Bao also has moved on in her life, and she is now focused on her work at MD Cancer Center. She spends the majority of her time with her dog.

Zack Freeman and Michael Clark

The couple met in a similar set-up as their co-contestants, but it was one of the worst matches done by the experts. They were polar apart and toxic towards each other, thus making it difficult for the fans to vote for them. The couple mutually decides to end their marriage on the decision day.

Since their split, Zack has continued to work as a software engineer; Michael, on the other hand, is trying to heal from the damage the series caused to her mental health and self-esteem. Michael got painted as the villain as she had little to no control over her emotions.
