Marriage at First Sight Australia season 10 released Episode 24 of the series on March 8, 2023. This is a reality show for people who love a little bit of romance and experimentation. This is not your usual dating show or reality show. The concept is bizarre, but it is entertaining. The episode serves all the drama. You need breakups, runaways, etc.
The show deals with romance, and with romance, by default, arrives drama, misunderstanding, and fights. So almost all the episodes of Married at First sight are filled with these, and Episode 24 did not fall behind either.
What is Marriage at First Sight About?
Marriage at First Sight is an Australian Reality TV Show that airs on nine networks from Monday to Wednesday. The show began airing in 2015 and has ten seasons as of now. It is an adaptation of the Danish TV show Gift Ved Første Blik. The show is a social experiment consisting of experts and a group of strangers. Now, what is the experiment? The experts pair together a group of strangers.
The strangers then get married, not a real marriage, because that, obviously, means trouble. They engage in a sort of commitment ceremony. Can you imagine getting married without knowing anything about your significant other? It sounds a lot like arranged marriage to me.
The couples meet for the first time at the altar and then go on their wedding night, and then to the honeymoon. The couple will live together for a period of time, and each week they get to decide if they want to stay in the relationship or not during the commitment ceremony.

Married at First Sight Australia Season 10 Episode 24 Recap & Review
Tayla fled the scene in today’s episode. Yes, you heard that right. Taylaa messaged Claire that She was leaving for Tassie after things got hard with Hugo. I am glad she messaged at least one person so everyone knows where she is instead of getting worried.
But that doesn’t make what she did right. Her profile about being the center of attention was not a lie because this incident was going to grab all the attention. Initially, Hugo is unaware of the whereabouts of Tayla. It is a shame, as claire rightly puts it. Hugo deserves clarity and closure from Tayla.
The next couple that faces trouble in paradise is obviously Bronte and Harrison. Harrison, in the earlier episodes, dumps Bronte via a text. Trust me, If I was dumped via text after my partner or experimental partner told me he didn’t want to leave me. I would be angry and confused too. Harrison wants reassurance from Bronte that their relationship is not fake.
The answer Bronte gave him was not something Harrison wanted to hear, which is what I assume from what happened in the show. But he texted her these exact words after their discussion ‘This relationship is done.’ A similar fiasco happened in the earlier episodes, too. There again, Harrison broke up with Bronte over text. This man must love breaking up.
This is Bronte’s version, and we need to know both sides. According to Harrison, Bronte said she wanted to go home. And this made him end the relationship. Later, we see both of them crying, but it is very obvious that nobody believes Harrison’s tears to be real. “Every time Harrison tears up – god bless him – he actually doesn’t cry,” comments Ollie. Then we see Claire informing Hugo that Tayla ran away.
He takes a minute to digest the information,n but we don’t see any dramatic reaction from him. He admits to the crew that he was shocked hearing the news as he was expecting closure, but he is just going to enjoy the night with his friends. If I was Hugo, I would have the exact reaction. I guess whatever drama happens between you and your partner, just mention to them that you are leaving.
Tayla wasn’t exactly into the relationship, to begin with. We also see that Tayla returns later to give Hugo a second chance, but Hugo doesn’t want her second chance and instead ends their relationship. I am so proud of Hugo for doing this, Tayla has the right to like or dislike a person, but if she doesn’t want a relationship, she should have the guts and decency to end it properly, too, instead of running away.
The issue between Harrison and Bronte is brought up as a topic of discussion by Alyssa. Harrison defends himself, and Bronte storms out of the dinner party. After this, Claire does her job as a friend and rips him apart as a friend should; she asks him the right question, which Harrison obviously does not appreciate. He takes his revenge by questioning Jesse’s and Claire’s relationship.
He accuses Vlaire of only remaining in the relationship to save her image after her kiss with Adam. This causes trouble for them as Harrison’s words get into Jesse’s head. I mean, I understand, Jess. It is hard to trust a partner who betrayed you once.
Jesse says that he knows Claire sees him as just a friend. He even admits that “The way that Claire and Adam connected that night was the way I wanted to connect with Claire.” We all feel bad for Jesse, and nobody deserves to get cheated and especially not on television. The show ended with Hugo calling it quits with Tayla.
Our Verdict
This episode had everything you ever want in a reality show. We saw tears from Bronte and Harrison, if we can consider the latter’s to be tears. As much as Harrison was rude, he was not wrong in calling out the relationship between Jesse and Claire. Tayla running away and their subsequent breakup was for sure the highlight of the episode.
I mean, Tayla was shocked when Hugi dumped her, but it was just the consequence of her actions. I really liked the way the episode was structured. It was one dramatic moment after the other. I don’t think one will ever get bored watching the episode. Based on all these factors, we give the show the following rating.
Our Rating: ⭐ (3/5).
