British shows’ fans are looking forward to the release of Malpractice Episode 1! Grace Ofori-Attah, a former doctor, wrote the new series, which is being made by World Productions (Line of Duty). Philip Barantini of Boiling Point is the director.
The series’ teaser has generated a lot of buzz online since it introduces Dr. Lucinda Edwards, a clever, combat-tested physician whom we first meet during a nightmare duty that ends with Edith Owusu, an opiate overdose victim, passing away.
Dr. Norma Callahan, performed by Helen Behan, and Dr. George Adjei, portrayed by Jordan Kouamé, are in charge of the medical inquiry. While George believes that this tragedy could not have been prevented, Norma has doubts about Lucinda’s actions and judgments in the days before Edith died.

What is the premise of Malpractice?
The show’s lead character, Dr. Lucinda Edwards, played by Niamh Algar, is introduced to viewers during a nightmarish shift that results in Edith Owusu, an opiate overdose victim, passing away.
Despite reassurance from Lucinda’s boss, Dr. Leo Harris (James Purefoy), that absolutely nothing suspicious has happened, Edith’s distraught father, Sir Anthony Owusu (who is portrayed by Brian Bovell), requests an investigation into Lucinda’s conduct on the fateful night.
Dr. Norma Callahan, portrayed by Helen Behan, and Dr. George Adjei, performed by Jordan Kouamé, who was formerly Lucinda’s coworker, are in charge of the subsequent medical investigation.
While Norma is wary of Lucinda’s actions and decisions leading up to Edith’s passing, George views the situation as an “unavoidable tragedy.” Tom, portrayed by Lorne MacFadyen, and Lucinda’s marriage begin to fall apart as the investigation’s pressure mounts.
