Making It Australia Season 1 will come to a closure with the coming Episode 12. We recently had our three finalists in an intense semi-final round. It saw Harley and Susie asking the competitors to showcase their dreams in both of the rounds. This resulted in some really beautiful and, at the same time, weird dreams coming out as well. For most of the competitors in the first round, having a house of their own turns out to be a big dream. But only one of them with quite a unique dream stood out.
So the first round went just like that. The second round, on the other hand, was more of something that represented hope in the contestants. They were asked to create a bedroom that best represents it. When the creators really came out with all their creativity, it felt like their childhood had come alive. So everyone had something to offer, but not everyone really stood out. In the end, we saw another contestant walking out, which gave us the final three. Here is a look at who they are and who left the show.
Making It Australia S01 E11 Recap
Previously on Making It Australia, we opened up with today’s “Faster Craft” Challenge. The contestants will be making a piggy bank that best represents their dream. Jack is making a modern mid-century house piggy bank which he dreams of building someday with his father. It has a letterbox, an underground tube, and a wine cellar. Coming to Rehana, she is working on a house piggy bank as well that looks like a sky with a rising hot air balloon.
Talking about Rizaldy, he is building what looks like a brick that will reveal his house later. George is making a Ferris Wheel Piggy bank that involves moving chairs and a money collection point. So Deborah and Benja took a look at the houses, and George ended up winning the Faster Craft and got another patch.
The master craft round saw Susie and Harley asking contestants to build their dream bedrooms now. They take inspiration from their hopes and dreams. Judges had some demands of their own that included rules of having walls, number of windows, and everything. George had a water-themed bedroom involving a headboard and a chandelier as well. Rehana had a bedroom with wings that spreads out when you pull the right rope. For Jack, it’s an interior of a classic fire station. Lastly, Rizaldy has a dream cloud bedroom involving clouds, rain, clouds, and air blowing.
When it came to the results of the Master Craft Challenge, Deborah and Benja went on to crown George as the winner for the second time in the day. So it’s Double Patch now. Now it was time for the elimination. Today’s competition saw some of the best performances. There were some flaws and a lack of visual impact. Therefore, Rehana will be leaving the show at this point. So we had a quick blast into the past as we saw Rehana’s journey before the episode closed.
