Mairimashita! Iruma-Kun is the story of a young boy, Suzuki Iruma who was neglected by his parents since the moment he started to walk. They would just leave him alone to fend for themselves while they indulged in their every whim. Even though his growing conditions were horrible he grew up into a fine young man with a people-pleaser mentality. Iruma-Kun found it extremely difficult to say no to someone no matter how unreasonable their request.
Even though his parents more or less abandoned them he still loved them. However, the last nail in the coffin was when his parents decided to sell him to a demon in exchange for money. Iruma-Kun believed that it was the end for him. But to his surprise, it was completely the opposite. The one who purchased him was Sullivan, one of the most influential in all of Demonkind.
Sullivan was single for as long as he can remember. He would always feel left out when his friends would brag about their Grandkids. Iruma should he agree will be adopted by Sullivan as his Grandchild. A confused Iruma wanted to refuse but seeing how sad Sullivan was without a Grandchild, he agreed. Sullivan was delighted and quickly enrolled him in School.
Iruma soon realizes that the school he was enrolled in, Babirus Demon School was managed by Sullivan. He was asked not to stand out but Sullivan dotting on him made it impossible to do so. On the first day of school, he made headlines in the school paper for defeating Asmodeus Alice, a fellow student who challenged him to a duel for stealing his thunder on the first day of school.
As time goes by Iruma’s popularity only increases. He makes a lot of friends as well as enemies. Only a select few know of his human nature, and from them, he learns that Demons consider humans to be a mythical beast and not as something that exists. He also learns that the previous Demon King, Delkira is missing, and no one has filled his spot. Sullivan confesses to Iruma that the reason he adopted him was that he reminded him of the Demon King Delkira.

What happened in the last few episodes was an unprecedented situation. A former member of the 13 Crowns, Glutton King Behemoth, attacked the 13 Crown’s Deviculum. It appears he was not happy with the decision to remove him from his seat as one of the 13 Crowns. He was gagged and bound in under 15 seconds, but Behemoth had another ace up his sleeve.
Behemoth’s stomach opened up to reveal a second mouth. Pandemonium ensues as no demon in all of Netherworld History has ever had such a trait. This put the other demons in a state of panic, and they started to flee but not Iruma-Kun. He decided to stay and fight. With the help of Asmodeus, he fired an arrow straight toward him but was stopped by a barrier.
A Barrier Iruma recognized as belonging to Kirio Ami. Baal appeared out of nowhere with his spear and, in one swift move, defeated Behemoth once and for all. Everyone cheered and hailed Baal as a Hero. Iruma is more interested in finding the one who casts the barrier and follows them. Iruma’s suspicions were true. It was Kirio who was behind the barrier.
Asmodeus sees Kirio and rushes toward them but is stopped by yet another barrier. Iruma and Kirio talk about what is going to happen. Baal is going to use what happened before to strengthen his image. His goal is to become the next demon king and bring about reform to all of Demonkind. Kirio tells Iruma that he has no place in a world like that. Asmodeus breaks through to Barrier to Iruma’s aid. Kirio smiles as he reveals Iruma’s true nature to Asmodeus.

Looks like Kirio is planning to tell Asomedeus that Iruma is a Human. The reaction would be catastrophic for Iruma as Asmodeus considers him to be one of his closest friends and allies. Something could happen before Kirio could finish his sentence. My money is on Sullivan, who could shut Kirio up without any difficulty. If his true nature is revealed, hopefully Asmodeus takes it well.
