Mahou Shoujo Nante Mou Ii Desu Kara Chapter 35 will continue with more of Yuzuka’s adventures as a magical girl. The series is steadily approaching its end, and so the anticipation for new chapters is at an all-time high. So far in the series, we have seen a lot of developments in Yuzuka’s character, and the last chapter was no different.

Mahou Shoujo Nante Mou Ii Desu Kara Chapter 34: Recap
The chapter opens up with Yuzuka and Chiya arriving at the theatre after leaving Miton in the hands of Miyoko. Yuzuka feels anxious thinking about what her mother would do with Miton, and Chiya also supports her. Meanwhile, Miton and Miyoko get into a separate room, where Miyoko gives some snacks to Miton. Miton starts eating right away, and then Miyoko tells him to get straight to the point.
Miton says that he’s aware of the contract he made with Miyoko, which said that he would observe Yuzuka’s daily activities, and in exchange, Miyoko would cover his living expenses. He continues by saying that lately, Yuzuka has been trying her hardest to live as an honors student, that it has made him wonder if she’s Miyoko’s daughter. Miyoko feels annoyed by Miton’s taunts.
Miton says that adding one’s views to a conversation improves its quality. Miyoko gets even more annoyed, and so she asks Miton to tell her anything else about Yuzuka. Miton thinks for a bit and then says that Yuzuka doesn’t have many friends. Miyoko’s expression suddenly brightened up because this was the kind of information she wanted to hear.
Miton further adds that Yuzuka has always been with Chiya since she was a child, and that still hasn’t changed. Miyoko then asks Miton if he has anything else to tell her, and he goes silent. She then tells him that she is already aware of Yuzuka not having any friends. Miton feels a bit shocked by how Miyoko ignored such a crucial thing about her daughter.
Miyoko clarifies that it’s better to have a good relationship with fewer friends than to have a lot of friends with no connections. Miton remembers how Yuzuka also said the same thing to him once, and now he finally realizes where she learned this from. Miyoko then discusses Yuzuka’s life as a magical girl with Miton, and he says that it’s rather eventful.
Miyoko gets serious and asks Miton if he has lied about anything to her, and he assures her that he hasn’t. Miton then hands over a tablet to Miyoko, which contains her daughter’s pictures in it. She feels extremely happy and says that even though Yuzuka is her own daughter, she still can’t believe how cute she is.
Meanwhile, Chiya and Yuzuka enjoy cotton candy in the park. Yuzuka feels a bit anxious because her mom is alone with Miton, so Chiya consolidates her by saying that Miyoko is an adult, so she won’t do anything stupid. Yuzuka hopes that Chiya is right about this. The focus shifts back to Miyoko and Miton.
Miton gets worried about Yuzuka suspecting him and Miyoko because of them talking in private. Miyoko says that it’s nothing to worry about because she has already bribed Chiya, which makes Miton even more worried. The chapter then ends with Chiya and Yuzuka going their separate ways.
