Higgins, though, had previously refrained from sharing her feelings with him. She did not want to be open with Magnum regarding why she had gone to his house that morning and why Gordo’s incident had occurred. Both of them visited the beach. They awaited Gordo’s arrival.
After that, he informed them of what had occurred. Gordo was upfront and sincere. He claimed that Beth and himself had been abducted. He added that if he does not murder somebody for the kidnappers first, they will kill her. Gordo was instructed to murder Shane, his former colleague. He was a prisoner.
The folks who shot him dead could not find him since he was actually on protective detail and hence was out of reach. Being a cop, Gordon has access to Whelan. At any time, he could take him outside to question him. The kidnappers hoped Gordo would take advantage of the situation to murder Whelan, but Gordo was incapable of carrying out such a task.
Gordo has no desire to commit murder. Gordo hoped that Magnum or Higgins could assist him in finding Beth first before the deadline passed. He may have killed individuals in the line of duty, and that was it. The two private detectives investigated it.
They followed Beth’s last known locations. She had been out jogging the previous evening when she was kidnapped by two men in masks and forced into a stolen vehicle. Magnum and Higgins followed that vehicle to a location. Gordo was then asked to recount what he was doing with that clip.
To save Beth, the two P.I.s and Gordo traveled there. She was not there, however. She had been transferred to a different place, and the abductors realized they were being followed after calling Gordo.
