Loveless Heroine Chapter 47: Recap
Wanthong wakes up during the night due to the extreme cold. As she wakes up, she wonders if it’s raining outside when she suddenly feels the urge to go to the toilet. She can’t go outside as she’s too afraid of the dark, and she still isn’t comfortable using the spittoon.
While thinking about all this, she suddenly hears a noise in her vicinity, so she picks up her stick to defend herself from whatever it may be. She thinks of how she learned that Philai Kaeo might still have feelings for her, but she rejected him, thinking that a man with so much rage in him would never understand true love.
Philai sits on the window frame while looking over Wanthong, and he tells her that he has to use the normal way to approach her as he can’t use his powers. Prong comes running into the room upon hearing the noises and stands in front of Wanthong to protect her. Philai wonders how someone didn’t get affected by his spell when he notices the Talisman on Prong’s neck.
Wanthong asks Philai about his reasons for visiting her and accuses him of trying to force himself on a woman. Philai replies that he will be returning to Kanchanaburi in the morning, where he will be the king. He tells Wanthong that he has come to take her with him, but she refuses, saying that she’s not an object which he can just pick and take anywhere.
Wanthong thinks that if she had to fight that she and Prong won’t stand a chance against Philai, and the fact that her bodyguards are in another house makes things even worse. Wanthong tells Philai that she will never love him, but Philai tells her that he doesn’t care about it anymore, as in the past, she pushed him away by any means necessary. Philai tries to grab her, but she runs away, trying to reach P’saithong’s house, but her efforts go in vain as Philai catches up to her and puts Prong to sleep.
Philai then picks up Wanthong and starts walking away. Wanthong manages to get a hold of Philai’s dagger. She tries to call for everyone in the house to help her, but no one listens as they are all under Philai’s spell. Wanthong realizes that the dagger is her last resort and that she needs to attack him at the right moment to break through, but she suddenly hears a strange voice that warns Philai about her, and he takes the dagger away from her.
Wanthong looks above her and finds a ghost looking over her who warned Philai. Wanthong still tries to get away from Philai by screaming and hitting him but to no avail as Philai walks out of the house. A light in the dark appears as Paleo makes an entrance and stops Philai in his path.
