At the start of Love Island Season 9 Episode 53 and just after waking up in the morning, Islanders will get a text. The text will say, ‘Islanders, the time has come for each of you to go on your final date #ADayToRemember.’ Everyone will be happy hearing this and will kiss their respective partners.
After a few seconds, Islanders will get another text saying, ‘However, whilst on your dates, you’ll have to decide who you think is the least compatible couple. That couple will be vulnerable and therefore at risk of being dumped from the island’. And after hearing this, all of them will be a bit sad, and Shaq will say, “Well, that just killed the mood.”
First, we will see Lana and Ron go on a date in the middle of a quiet, beautiful mini river. It will be a “Little breakfast date.” It is shocking how it’s the end of the season, and it’s the first (and the final) date for Ron and Lana in this season.
They were together from the start but had to wait until the season’s end for a date. Ron and Lana also acknowledge this and do a Cherrs to their “First and Final date.” Let’s talk about other couples’ dates in the Spoilers section of this article.
Love Island Season 9 Previous Episode Recap & Review
Let’s first talk about Episode 52 before going in for Love Island Season 9 Episode 53 Spoilers. Let me mix up this review with something else because I was so bored after watching this episode. So bored that I didn’t really enjoy this episode and was on my phone. I know that moaning about episodes can be annoying but I don’t know what to do. I can’t sit and pretend I enjoyed it because I definitely didn’t.
I felt like the girls were aware of Sanam’s position. They don’t like it, they find it to be threatening, and they don’t like the fact that she’s been loved or that she wasn’t in the bottom two and that people like her. They find it to be very frustrating, and they’re noticing it even more as days go on.
They know that she’s going to be in their finale. They feel like she doesn’t deserve to be in that finale because she’s one of the newer contestants who’s walked in post-Casa Amor and doesn’t deserve to be in that finale. And they are all thinking about that, they’re all thinking about being in the finale, they’re all thinking about being up there, and of course, anybody would because it’s a game show.
But I just think that these ideas, positions, and perceptions are more conscious of these contestants as Seasons progress. So we always talk about how the concepts need to be updated for us as viewers to enjoy and that this is boring because you’ve seen this again, we’ve seen that again.
But you know what about the contestants inside the villa and how they are already aware of everything going on? Because they’ve seen it before, that will just change their behavior if production does not change up this show massively.
Then it is not going to work. Love Island Winter’s sole purpose is just to cheapen the Love Island brand because, of course, this season has been absolutely diabolical and the worst season of the show, hands down.
Love Island Winter Season Will Damage The Summer Season
What Love Island Winter is going to do is damage the Summer season. Because nobody now wants to see Love Island again in two months, they’re done with it and they’re exhausted by it. Those who have been watching this Love Island Winter Season from day one to now, they now don’t want to watch the summer season.
And, of course, the Love Island Summer Season ratings will be better than this Winter Season. Because it’s in the summer, it will have summer Vibes, and it’s a summer situation.
However, at the same time, there are going to be some people who are going to experience viewer exhaustion with all the same Love Island challenges all over again, Bombshells all over again, then someone comes in and messes things up, then we got Casa Amor all over again, then we got movie night all over again and so on.
Like it’s gonna happen again, and there’s gonna be viewer exhaustion. I feel like the ratings for the Summer season are going to be higher than this Winter, but they’re not going to be at a high re-peak. We witnessed a high re-peak in ratings with season eight, and they got excited about that.
Had they not done this Winter Season and come back with Love Island Season 9 as a Summer Season, then it would have been a moment. But I think that I don’t see the summer version as being that exciting. I feel like the next year, the 2024 summer version will be good because you need a break when it comes to this.
Because we’ve got Big Brother coming on, Love Island All-Stars coming on, then you got Married at First Sight coming on, Love is Blinds coming on, and Too Hot To Handle coming on. There’s a lot more reality TV now than actual programs like Euphoria that we can watch that are really big. Big shows like Game of Thrones and Euphoria, there are not many of them anymore that are really that as popular.
Jessie Is A Greenlight For Love Island All-Star
Jessie isn’t just somebody who is important to one of the main characters in the show, like Will. Jessie is also a symbol of an abroad Love Islander and that holds a lot of value. When Aaron and Jessie both walked in, they had to have a success story for one of them so that they could use them as an example of the fact that Love Island All-Stars can work.
The fact that Jessie is coming to the show and no one’s too annoyed with the fact that they’re bringing in Australians and a couple of weeks later, everyone was just used to them as contestants. It is a big green flag for production that they are going to definitely do Love Island All-Stars mix with America and Australia as well as with the UK and that people won’t really care. Now Let’s talk about the spoilers for Love Island Season 9, Episode 53.
It’s interesting when it comes to Love Island All Stars, are they actually Stars? So we’ll just see because we don’t want to see someone like Ekin-Su or somebody from Love Island USA season 3 or 4 who’s been there for two days because then that doesn’t make any sense to me. So they’ve also contacted a lot of people, more than you would think and know for it.
