Are you ready for more Love During Lockup? The popular reality show has come back for a second season, and this time it’s going to be even more drama-filled than before! In the new season, we will see relationships between inmates and non-convicts struggling to survive in a world that is often filled with obstacles. Catfishing, cheating, and misunderstandings are just some of the challenges these couples face.
The show deals with the unique relationships between inmates and non-convicts and how they must overcome challenges that wouldn’t exist in a normal relationship. The series often highlights challenges such as catfishing, misunderstandings, cheating, and drama.
We TV, who is also known for airing Love After Lockup, made this series as a spin-off to the original. While most shows about love focus on those who have already served their time, this show instead focuses on relationships with inmates who are still serving theirs. We learned from the first season that these relationships can’t be depended on.
The second season aired on October 21, 2022 and it’s going to be good. With original couples and some fan-favorites returning, the new season is bound to have more scandals and fewer healthy relationships than ever before.
All About Love During Lockup:
Similar to how Justice is blind, love does not discriminate among its recipients. Pen pal websites serve as a form of companionship for inmates during their time in confinement. Many prison relationships are born out of necessity, but some are nothing more than scams for money or early release.
The first season was brutal for Haley and Indie when their prison inmate after they had put in so much effort, ended up cheating or leaving them. Based on their social media posts, it appears that Gabby and Chris have ended their relationship. Unfortunately, according to these same updates, it also seems that Chris became physically abusive at some point during the course of their time together.
This season, may we see better relationships and sincere efforts from everyone. With only a few exceptions, most of the cast is new. This season, you’ll see Tai and Hottie, Chelsea and Mike, Emily and Dauri, Melissa and Louie, and Jessica and Dustin. So far, there are two additional couples who remain shrouded in mystery.
Tai and Hottie have been arguing a lot lately, but it looks like they may have found the solution to their relationship problems. Tai was seen talking about getting married to Hottie soon. Tai is also dating multiple other men.
Chelsea and Mike appear to have connected with each other on Facebook. Chelsea is deaf, and it looks like Mike learned sign language so that he could communicate better with her. Mike looks like he’s been involved in a homicide from the trailer, which Chelsea only finds out after they start dating.
Emily and Dauri are a couple whose relationship seems to be built on lies. Emily has a masters in criminal justice, so it’s unexpected that she would date someone with a shady past. Melissa, who worked as a mail carrier, met Dauri and wanted to have a pen pal. Melissa found the perfect pen pal when she learned that her high school crush, Louie, was in jail.
Jessica met Dustin, who was convicted when she was working as a nurse at the jail. She quit her high-paying job to be with him but now her family is against it.
