Directed by well-known director Kim Jin Woo, the drama features the story of four youth exploring their dreams and aspirations while putting their needs into compromise. The drama is set in a coastal countryside area of South Korea to give a warm summer vibe in this winter season.
The cast of the drama includes Jnag Dong Yoon as Kim Baek Doo, Lee Joo Myung as Oh Yoo Kyung, Lee Joo Seung as Cho Seok Hee, Yoon Jong Seok as Min Hyun Wook and Kim Bo Ra as Joo Mi Ran. The supporting cast line is also incredible.
Talking about drama, the story mainly focuses on the life of Kim Baek Doo, who is a traditional Korean wrestler also known as Ssireum player. However, he was a popular player in the past but not considered a successful player. To get back his fame, he decides to compete to achieve the Jenga title.
However, insecurity creeps him up, and he decides to retire from wrestling. Just at this moment, a mysterious girl called Lee Jo Myung moves to his town. The most eerie part was that she moved to Du Shik’s house, which had been closed for years after the owners disappeared without notice.
Du Shuk was Baek Do’s childhood friend and mentor. He believed Lee Jo Myung was Du Shik, but Jo Myung claimed it was not her. What could be the reason she came to the town? However, Baek Do and Jo Myung become friends and decide to discover the truth surrounding Du Shik’s family.

With the entry of the new mysterious girl, Oh Yu Kyung, into the town, mysterious events start taking place, which makes locals curious. Baek Du, on the other hand, is firm in his take that Yu Kyung is his childhood mentor and friend, Du Shik.
Yu Kyung denies her being Du Shik and explains to him that he must have mistaken her. But Baek Do is rigid with his choice. Baek Doo recalls his childhood days, how Du Shik used to scold him and uproot him the whole time.
A flashback from Baek Doo’s childhood is shown, where we see Du Shik holding a leadership power in the gang. Despite being a girl, she had a masculine persona and would dictate the other kids in their group. She was brave and would participate in sports like ssireum.
While having flashbacks in his mind, Baek Doo forgot to keep track of Yu Kyung. He starts asking about the new girl’s whereabouts from everyone in the town. On his way, he asks his other friends if they think the new girl is Du Shik, which they all deny.
But Baek Doo if firm with this thoughts that she is Du Shik. Later, a get-together was arranged by the townspeople, and they invited Yoo Kyung. At the party, everyone curiously asks Yoo Kyung about her job and family. She reveals she is a civil servant and transferred from Seoul to this town for work.
Baek Doo decides to follow Yoo Kyung to find the truth about her identity. Yoo Kyung gets annoyed seeing him following her since the morning. Then suddenly, Baek Doo said to Yoo Kyung that he had quit ssirum, which made Yoo Kyung furious.
Baek Doo’s doubt gets confirmed upon seeing Yoo Kyung getting mad over him on his decision. Later, when he saw Yoo Kyung being an incredible ssireum player, he affirmed. But when Baek Doo’s father told him to play a last match with him and then decide on his retirement.
Baek Doo fails in all attempts and decides to give up ssireum since he believes he is not more interested in the game, nor is he capable. Just at this moment, Yoo Kyung comes to talk to him. Baek Doo is about to hear about Yoo Kyung being Du Shik, but a mysterious person interrupts them both.
