In Life of a Magic Academy Mage Chapter 44, we will see the continuation of the fight between the Leehan and the Twilight Dawn Squad. In Chapter 43, Leehan started to bleed from his nose after using too much of his brain using iron balls. The exact reason for it has not been revealed, as the chapter ended after that, but by reading the last few pages, we can tell that it was because he used too much brain on it.

While fighting the Twilight Dawn Squad, Leehan discovers that one of the members has an unusual type of mana, which also signifies his strength. So in the next chapter, we could expect a one-on-one fight between Leehan and the leader. But considering the plot armor, Leehan will defeat him.

But it won’t solve problems for Leehan, as the professor mentioned that the headmaster was arriving for the backup. So Leehan might get in trouble for escaping the academy. But he might have planned something before he exposed himself to the professor.

The chapter starts by showing us how Leehan saved the professor. Ten minutes before the incident, Leehan found out that the van got invaded by the Twilight Dawn Squad. So he told Ratford to hide himself and murmured something into his ears. The story then changes to the present time. Leeha made his presence known to the professor, but she couldn’t see him as he used invisibility magic. He told the professor rather than wasting time asking why he was there, and she should give him orders if they could defeat the Twilight Dawn Squad.

Leehan asked her why wasn’t she using any magic against the enemy. To which she replied that her mana got absorbed by an ancient relic. However, she got surprised to see Leehan using magic, but she realized that he had an endless amount of mana. So she requests Leehan to give her some mana. After receiving the mana from Leehan, the first thing that the professor did was to break the ancient relic so that it won’t absorb her mana anymore.

After the relic had broken, her mana which got absorbed by it, returned to her. But while she was breaking the relic, the twilight Dawn Squad members closed in on her. As Leehan was still invisible, he took down one of them. And after seeing their member knocked out of nowhere, they realized someone was using invisibility magic. Leehan discovered something was off with one of their members, as his energy differed from the others.

So to avoid the person getting closer to the professor, he exposed himself so that everyone’s attention would be on him. As soon as Leehan got exposed, he ran quickly toward the relic to destroy it. In the midway, he again used invisibility magic. The one that seemed to be their leader told their member that he would deal with Leehan, while the others dealt with the professor. Leehan started to shoot out the iron ball to retrieve and rotate it.

The leader told the members not to underestimate him just because he was a child. Leehan managed to hit one of the squad members with his iron ball, so they could not follow him. However, suddenly Leehan started to bleed from his nose.
