Lies Hidden in My Garden revolves around the life of two housewives, Moon Joo Ran and Choo Sang Eun. They live in two different societies. Joo Ran belongs to a wealthy family and married a prestigious doctor, Park Jae Ho. Choo Sang Eun was from a low-income family. She was suffering from domestic violence. Everything was normal until Joo Ran marked a foul smell from their backyard. Choo Sung Eun heard that her husband was dead.

Moon Joo Ran found the body of her dead sister Young Ran, and she was devastated. Later, she meets the homeroom teacher at the school lunch. Joo Ran was shocked to see Wu Chan Il. She thinks he killed her sister, but there is no evidence. Joo Ran was trying to protect her son, Seung Jae. She stops him from attending the retreat. Joo Ran was worried about her son and went to check the retreat. She saw Wu Chan Il taking a student, and she hit him from the back.
Park Jae Ho blamed Moon Joo Ra for causing trouble. He made her think she was mentally unstable. Joo Ran visited Oh Hae Su and insisted on watching the CCTV footage. Joo Ran met Choo Sang Eun to discuss the missing student and her husband. Sang Eun showed a video to Joo Ran to prove her words. Park Jae Ho was involved in sex trafficking and prostitution. Sang Eun stated that Park Jae Ho was blackmailed by her husband, Kim Yun Beom.
Joo Ran and Sang Eun join hands to reveal the truth behind the incident. Seong Jae has come to rent an apartment. Sang Eun received a message from Jae Ho about the meeting place and time. After her husband left the house, Joo Ran took Oh Hae Soo’s car to pick up Sang Eun. They visit the father of the missing student. Sang Eun had a panic attack when she remembered being tortured by her husband. She breaks a bottle to protect herself, and Joo Ran comes to rescue her.
Park Jae Ho recalls an incident when he dumped the dead body in the wardrobe. Sang Eun and Jae Ho met as scheduled before. She asks about the offer, and he mentions 500 million. They talk about Kim Yun Beom, who made wrong choices and died. Sang Eun would have called the police to arrest Jae Ho, but there is another plan. She had kept all the evidence from her late husband’s journal. Joo Ran overheard their conversation. She mentions about Soo Min with a photo.
Jae Ho questions Sang Eun about how she moved her husband’s body. She is pregnant, and he is confused about how she did it. Joo Ran was shocked when Jae Ho asked Sang Eun why she killed her husband. He suggests handing over the phone with evidence to the police, but she wants to disclose the dirty truth.
