Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday trailer has received an unexpected LEGO makeover. Disney Consumer Products, Marvel Studios and LEGO have released an official brick-built recreation of the movie’s latest trailer, rebuilding its major scenes shot-for-shot while retaining the voices of the actual cast.

The new trailer was revealed through IGN as part of the “All Moments Lead to Doomsday” campaign. Unlike earlier fan-made LEGO recreations of Doomsday footage, this version is an official collaboration between the companies behind the movie and LEGO’s Marvel line.

The Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Gets a Brick-Built Makeover

The LEGO version recreates the dramatic introduction of Doctor Doom before moving through several major character moments from the live-action footage. Robert Downey Jr.’s Victor von Doom is among the most prominent figures in the remake, with his performance carried over through the original actor’s voice.

Other Marvel characters, including Thor, Steve Rogers, the Fantastic Four, and Doctor Strange, also appear as LEGO minifigures. The recreation keeps the scale and structure of the original footage while replacing the live-action environments with detailed brick-built sets.

That includes some of the movie’s biggest crossover moments, as characters from different corners of Marvel’s universe are brought together ahead of the film’s multiversal conflict.

Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom Still Takes Center Stage

The LEGO trailer also preserves the significance of Downey Jr.’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor, who previously played Tony Stark/Iron Man throughout the Infinity Saga, is returning in Avengers: Doomsday as Victor von Doom.

That casting remains one of the film’s biggest talking points, particularly because Doomsday is bringing together characters from multiple Marvel franchises. The LEGO remake gives viewers another playful look at Doom without changing the mystery surrounding his role.

The real film is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026.

The Official Recreation Is More Than a Fan Project

LEGO recreating Marvel trailers is not entirely new, but this project stands apart because it is an official production. The collaboration was created by Disney Consumer Products, Marvel Studios, and LEGO rather than an independent creator using publicly available footage as a template.

Paul Gitter, executive vice president of global brand commercialization at Disney Consumer Products, described the project as “a nod to the creativity of the Marvel fandom” while explaining that it is intended to build anticipation for the theatrical release.

The timing also fits with LEGO’s growing Avengers: Doomsday merchandise lineup. Official LEGO products currently include the Avengers: Doomsday Quinjet, Epic Battle: Avengers: Doomsday, Doctor Doom Bust, and Avengers: Doomsday New Avengers Tower. LEGO’s official product pages confirm the sets are tied directly to the upcoming Marvel movie.
