After that fight, he has left alone, however, Kunlun Taibai Sword Immortal Qiu Wuya shows up at the Qinglian Sword Valley, fights this Ninth Demon General of the Cangyue Army, repels it from there, and takes Xu Changqing and Mu Zixun to his place.
Legend of Lotus Sword Fairy Episode 32: Recap and Review
Although the time was so harsh on Qinglian Emperor Sword Xu Changqing, the people of the Kunlun Taibai also wanted him dead because they believed that these people were bad luck for them, however, Immortal Qiu Wuya protected him by any means.
Later in the story, we see that Xu Changqing awakens his inner powers, which is the celestial spirit named “Chaos Gathering Spirit Monument,” after which Immortal Qiu Wuya accepts him as his disciple. After that, when Xu Changqing participates in the Immortal Sword Competition, he defeats Xia Qingho and ultimately wins the crown.
After winning the crown, he gets access to enter the forbidden area of Kunlun. This was when we found out that he was doing all this so that he could find the fountain of immortality and eventually can revive his late grandfather.
When the last released episode of the show opens up, we see that Xu Changqing is fighting against the demon and knows him down. After that, we find out that the announcer reveals Kunlun Descipleg has won the round.
