The team leader questions his directions as he feels Kang and Lee work well, and the reasoning given by Lee for Kang’s transfer is unreasonable. Lee’s sister continues to tease him. She knows for a fact that Lee is developing feelings for Kang, and he is unsure as to how to deal with it.
She confronts him about dating with marriage in mind for later. He tells her that the only woman he will love would be the one he falls in love with at first sight.
Lee’s sister is supportive of him as it is evident from his face and emotions that he is truly developing feelings for Kang, and it shows on his face.
The next day, Kang apologizes for not working properly as that has led to the release of such a tabloid, which has caused damage to the Director’s reputation.
He is saddened that she is bowing to him so many times just because of a small slip-up, so he tells her that it is okay and she does not have to apologize anymore.
He reasons that it is her work, so she has to do it. He cannot do anything else as that is part of her duty as his secretary, which she has to perform.
The chapter ends with Lee nearly collapsing after being surrounded by the cameras as they are heading out, only to be saved by Kang, who immediately takes him away from the cameras.

In the previous chapter, Chapter 11, Lee talks it out and decides that he needs Kang to go back to the team as she is too talented to be working under him.
But the team leader tells him to make it work like he has been doing so, and he asks him if there are any other problems with Kang, to which he does not give a proper answer.
Kang wakes up to the surprising news delivered by his sister that he has been spotted with a mysterious woman. His sister correctly guesses it to be Kang.
His sister tries to pester him about dating, but he tells her not to interfere. She tells him that she supports him and that he should consider dating and marrying later.
Meanwhile, the next day, Kang apologizes for the harm she has caused to the director as a result of the article and promises to fix it.
They head out as per the appointment schedule. But they find themselves surrounded by cameras, and that makes the director feel uneasy. He looks like he is about to collapse, only to be held onto by Kang.
